Silently building The Bitcoin Standard

Creation is the refusal to vanish.

To die is to be.

But I don’t want to simply *be*.

I want to *create*.

To shape. To carve. To ignite.

Being is passive.

Creation is proof I lived.

To die is to be. I don't want to simply be.

I want to create.

Seeking to become a certain thing might not be the way to go. Just go with the flow and become who YOU are.

Why aine to become Hermès, when I could Become Leathermint.

LEATHERMINT — Quintessentially Bitcoin

Aim to become the best even if it is Impossible.

As soon as I can im going to reward you for holding à Leathermints for as long as you did. I think about it often.

I replaced my head gasket on a Hyundai 2009 2.0l. Machined the head and replaced pump and thermostat too. I did it and I learned so much in the process.

Crazy job when it's your first time.

Bitcoin is too sacred to be hoarded by middle managers.

It belongs in the hands of welders, electricians, mechanics, carpenters.

The ones who actually produce value. The ones who know what proof-of-work means—because they live it.

Some, few, of you are so lucky to own a Leathermints I didn't make.

My mom made it. It's so much more valuable. You were so early.

Ill make the best tin foil chin strap ever

I just ran the numbers.

LEATHERMINT is more than 200 orders fulfilled and ~300 unique items owned by sovereign individuals.

People are often suprised by my prices but it's still 2 to 4 times cheaper and, honestly, it's better.

They use standardized leathers with very few character while I use artisan made shell cordovan.

If you're in it for the leather and own something truly unique there's no comparaison.

Last time he personaly told me he was fine with it and even bought one for himself. I probably shouldn't hesistate and making the sale would be appreciated right now.

Let's do it. But it's not THE BullBitcoin wallet yet it's just a wallet in hommage of BullBitcoin called Francis that all the generals at BullBitcoin own.

Not sure. It's a long story but not everyone at bullbitcoin was happy to see this for sale when I first released the v1. Ot made it a lot less fun to promote. Since then I tried to have them accredited to official merchandise but it dosen't seem like it's going to work out.

So without logo can be available now but with logo im not sure I want to do it anymore.

There's a new standard and I'm preparing for it. Do you really think that, under à Bitcoin standard, the best compagnies will continue to settle for regular merchandise? T-shirt and hats.

I don't think so. The Bitcoin standard of merchandise is a lot more work intensive.

I've been preparing for this but I think I'm too early.

Le francais c'est pour les secrets

I'm down. Let's say 115k sats for shipping? Just zap and I'll get to it slowly

The thing is that those people are the ones I am looking to sell too. My .marketing was successful in attracting them but they assume I want marketing from them.

I understand it can't be beneficial to invest in marketing. But I am not looking to invest in millionaires for marketing. I measure my success in on-chain transactions I can establish with them.

I also simply genuinely didn't have the means to make such investments. When I do have the means to invest in marketing I don't think it will be that way. More likely I will be sponsoring small Bitcoin meet ups.

I'm in Bitcoin to do commerce. Goods for money.

But so many people expect me to do gifts. Goods for promotion.

I understand the game. But I guess it's not the kind of game I want to play.

I am having a lot of difficulty to work with bigger players in the industry. I'm probably meant to build my own thing on my side.

It's gonna be small but it's gonna be good.

It's always gimmicks man. I don't understand anything about business or art. I just want to make good stuff for people who can value it.

I started relying too much in my hopes of partnerships with people but I have to go back on relying on nothing more than myself and what I want to create.

I'm gonna go back to making cold clutches when I can. The wallet era was fun and I built a nice collection but I gotta get back to my roots now.

Those new bots are kind of annoying eh?
