It's also interesting that they tell us we are a Republic even though we have a FEDERAL government, this would imply to me that we are infact a federation and not a Republic. This would also imply the Dem. republicans like Thomas Jefferson lost the battles of states rights and individual freedoms to said federalist and what we are presented with today is just an illusion of choice. In my eyes the Libertarians are the true successors to those original Dem. republicans.
