My first attempt to use bisq just now i would call the experience abysmal in comparison to robosats. The whole process is terribly clunky, wallet fundings, transactions happening every step of the way...then my connection crashed and i wasnt able to complete the trade. Complete disaster so i went and bought some sats via robosats in 5 mins to make myself feel better. I'll probably try again after taking a break but holy hell they are not the same.

incredible, 👏

Got a call from nostr:npub1pt53hr2wzgvz7zvz872y275cuwqyg8ayepc9l66xnfgefs2lw99sxyr0vf today.

They want us to come back and build on their platform. We told them no.

🤣

Hahah ya instant regret is the term that cones to mind 😅

read up on it here https://docs.btcpayserver.org/FAQ/Wallet/#the-gap-limit-problem

It cites electrum and wasabi wallet as wallets that give the ability to determine your gap limit and find a wallet address that is seemingly missing from your wallet due to the problem. But I believe Sparrow can solve for it too.

Just experienced what the 'gap limit' is in a wallet...that'll make your heart race lullz.

freedom tech is the best tech 😌

seems relatively more complicated than robosats but still important to get familiar with it

Ahh, I'm lucky to not have that issue. Let me know how your experience is with bisq.

Any users out there used both bisq and robosats for buying / selling btc ? Curious about people's opinions on both. I've used robosats for some time now, and want to get used to using bisq to diversify my corn sources. Downloaded bisq earlier today and was a bit intimidated, seems complex in comparison to robosats.

nostr:npub1yfg0d955c2jrj2080ew7pa4xrtj7x7s7umt28wh0zurwmxgpyj9shwv6vg does wavman.app still work ? Went there today and I can log in but nothing happens when i press the buttons.
