Yeah, Timestamp problem is already identified. I'll try to do some combinations to see if I'm able to reproduce the Amber thing
No, my timestamps are fine although I saw some other people had the timestamp issue. I think it's two distinct and unconnected issues. But as much as I'm sad that you're having trouble with Pokey, I'm a little glad I'm not the only one who's having this problem with the Amber authentication failing. nostr:nprofile1qqsxg45ph8gx0vdrvtzta6xal7v86frx6jvstsnvhrlvtehmwwh4epqpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuvrcvd5xzapwvdhk6tcpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz9nhwden5te0v4jx2m3wdehhxarj9ekxzmny9ua2vh28 here's another user who's having that problem with Pokey v0.0.4-alpha not authenticating with Amber, and the "Amber not installed" toast.
Did you try with v0.0.3-alpha??
Man, I'm on fire
hey, nostr:npub1v3tgrwwsv7c6xckyhm5dmluc05jxd4yeqhpxew87chn0kua0tjzqc6yvjh ! Where I can find a list of use case?
thank you for this PoW!
That list right now is only on my head ๐ I need to update the readme file with some instructions, so I'll probably add a couple of them.
Any specific question?
Maybe nostr:nprofile1qqs827g8dkd07zjvlhh60csytujgd3l9mz7x807xk3fewge7rwlukxgpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszrnhwden5te0dehhxtnvdakz7qgswaehxw309ahx7um5wghx6mmd9usjfpck can help us here. Any idea why the code is reaching this point? https://github.com/KoalaSat/pokey/blob/5c746991be6152c09909e901a5ec31ba79ea34a1/app/src/main/java/com/koalasat/pokey/models/ExternalSigner.kt#L28
The latest version of #Pokey is using Amber, presumably for auth to DM inboxes. It correctly calls Amber, and starts the service after I've authenticated, but it's also throwing up a toast message saying "Amber not installed". nostr:nprofile1qqsxg45ph8gx0vdrvtzta6xal7v86frx6jvstsnvhrlvtehmwwh4epqpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuvrcvd5xzapwvdhk6tcpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz9nhwden5te0v4jx2m3wdehhxarj9ekxzmny9ua2vh28 any idea of what this problem is? It just an errant toast message? Or do you think there's something actually going wrong?

Did you grant permissions to Pokey?
It's a workaround I don't even if it's going to work ๐ the follow list of an user is just an event with a bunch of #p tags.
Pokey just listens for new events like this including your pubkey, and if your is the one at the end of the list that means that you have been the last one added.
Let's see if it works.
New Pokey release v0.0.4-alpha
You might need to stop and start again Pokey after updating in order to connect correctly to your inbox relays.
Features
- New follow notification
- NIP-42 Auth to Relays
- Broadcast your inbox events to other apps in your device
Bugs
- Zaps now displays integers
- Better relay recovery
- Now it only connects to public and DM inbox relays
React to this if you want new Pokey release
I love Pokey๐, but getting same notifications twice. Any idea nostr:nprofile1qqsxg45ph8gx0vdrvtzta6xal7v86frx6jvstsnvhrlvtehmwwh4epqpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuvrcvd5xzapwvdhk6tcpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz9nhwden5te0v4jx2m3wdehhxarj9ekxzmny9ua2vh28 ? ๐

Already fixed for the next release ๐
What do you got when you tap on them? Its possible that your client doesn't connect to the relays these notes are stored.
There is a check before dispkaying the notification that validates that note is mentioning you, so I doubt it was a mistake.
I am often getting redundant notifications from Pokey with the other clients (Amethyst, Citrine, Amber, 0xchat...)
Pokey's future compatibility with other clients would be productive for an all-in-one integration push notifications ๐โ #grownostr

Yes, the original idea for Pokey is what you just described ๐ we are on it
If you are using Amber, yes. Its already part of the next release.
