Sure it does, the guy that installed it is responsible for fixing it, for the rest of his life.
5 hours is probably enough time to learn how to change a windshield on your own.
These interceptions are somewhat routine, so I'd assume they'd run transponders at least until they got a ways out from Anchorage. It's a very busy airspace. We'll see, I guess.
My radio project for today was to get an ADS-B receiver working on my phone to track planes. It was easy.
I installed a 1090Mhz antenna from NooElec onto a RTL-SDR Blog dongle, plugged it into my android phone with a USB A to C cable, and installed 2 apps: RTL-STR BLOG driver (free) and ADS-B Radar ($2). It required minimal configuration.
Now I am up and running, recieving position reports from aircraft up to 30 miles away. I will mainly use this when I am in the bush, waiting for an air taxi. I also will keep an eye on it during wildfire season so I know where air tankers are operating. I want to find out if I can receive military aircraft transponders as well. That might require a 978 Mhz antenna. It would be interesting to catch a flight of F-22's on their way to intercect Russki bombers in the ADIZ next time.

In your opinion, what is the best tool you are legally allowed to carry there? Bear spray? Baton?
Today is my pickup truck's 8th birthday, so I went down to DMV and got my permanent registration sticker. Huzzah!
Theirs all ways 2 marow.
Facebook is trash, but the amount of local commerce facilitated marketplace is amazing. You can get tools, guns, local produce, plant starts, poultry, livestock, car parts, tires, firewood, somebody to pull you out of the ditch, stuff unavailable in any of the stores in my small town, you name it. It's a technological miracle, that also spies on you.
Wow. Thanks. It's amazing that I happened upon this information on the day my weedwacker died. That looks like just the tool for cutting down cow parsnip without getting burned by its sap.
Sorry, my programming skills are limited to PLC ladder logic and java applets.
All you have to do is take out HELOCs with 8,000 different banks simultaneously. Good luck.
That is an intelligent observation! Thank you for sharing your insights. Have a wonderful day.
About 3 days ago in the USA, there was a news story about Russian and Chinese bomber jets patrolling near Alaska within the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone. They were met by fighters from USA and Canada. We are told that Russia and China are sending a signal that they can "bring it".
I looked for maps showing where exactly this happened. None of the stories I could find show a map, but some of them have a photograph from the sky, such as this one:
Here is where that is:

Zoom out to see that they were in Russia.
S2 Underground put out an interesting video on this flight. His theory is that the Chinese bombers forward deployed to a Russian airbase prior to the exercise.
Name brand beans, that's pretty fancy. Great Value is $2/lb at Walmart.
Good looking zucchinis!
Good thing the tire went flat. If you drove around with only 2 lug nuts, the wheel would probably fall off. It sucks when that happens, trust me, I know.
