Handyman engineer. I bounce from project to project. I'm often called in to do the finishing touches, bringing 90% complete projects over the finish line. I'm good at making disparate systems talk to each other. * Zaps powered by nostr:nprofile1qqsf07zg4hxyccnkdp07fppxmetpfzru3fg6mgzx3nk8r7af8qnjjyg76vulm * On-chain powered by nostr:nprofile1qqsvxq03xdev3uxehjqcdkr5lfzl5vawmcf7vm6ps73m6ghwg8y4k2shaefxp *Always Buy the Dip* #privacy #security #linux #Android #networkengineer #infosec #SimpleX #dogs #cats #pets #cooking

That's why I like the SeedSigner so much. It's not pretentious. No bells and whistles. It just signs transactions, and transfers them back to your software wallet with a QR code.

I don't like all the shady wallets on sale at Amazon. Shit you've never heard of. Brand names you never heard of. And of course they all support 10,000 coins. I don't like it.

The other ones are all about added functionality, multi-wallet storage, multiple signing methods (memory card, NFC, USB, QR, etc) distress PINs, and other premium-but-unnecessary features. I prefer simple. No connectivity, QR signing, stateless. After all, I'm using these hardware devices in conjunction with software wallets, so that's where all the extra features should be, IMO.

I hate Apple. They ruin everything.

Ok I just finished this movie, and WTF?? I don't get it. Why was there a giant spider in the bedroom at the end? I feel like so many questions were left unanswered, and instead all we got was a giant spider. I'm so confused.

Well, it's decent as far as front-ends go. I'm wary of using Nostr DMs to authenticate. I prefer NIP-07. I especially think it works better for something with updating settings. But that's just my preference.

If I was building my own refrigerator from scratch, I'd still look at the competitor's plans to see what can be used, and what can be thrown out.

You should grab the software that zaps.lol uses. It's open source, available on GitHub, and it would be a good foundation for whatever you're building.

I'm about 30min into this movie. It's very reminiscent of Alfred Hitchcock. Weird AF so far. The yellow filter is making me quesey.

I always say between 1/2 and 1. Only a psychopath says 5.

Still one of the best movies of the past 30 years.

Here's Happy Bitcoin trying to make lunch for his kids, but it's not going well.
