Up Around the Bend π€
Maybe we have a youth mental health crisis in the US because our government has been stealing their and their families' wealth to fund endless wars for their entire lives.
Just a hunch. I could be wrong.

We are going to win.
War should never be a profitable endeavor.
It's truly amazing how long the fiat ponzi scheme has gone on.
When it finally unravels, it will shock the world.
No one is ready for it, not even us hardcore #hodlers.
To find out that a foundational institution is a massive scam will be the mother of all rug pulls.
No idea if and when it's going to happen but brace yourself if it does. All hell will break loose.
A new Amethyst logo

Amethyst, the most popular Nostr client for Android, was first launched in early January 2023. Its original logo design featured a tall, warm purple hexagon with the shape of an ostrich head and beak in the negative space that was also vaguely reminiscent of an arm with a hand making the shaka symbol. π€
Since then, it has undergone iterations, and now features a cooler purple-to-blue gradient in a more abstract shape which somewhat resembles an A, but isnβt as successful as it should be.
In nature, an amethyst is a hexagonal crystal with deep and rich violet colors. This new design attempts to bring some of that back in a thoughtful and refined way. The new design features an avian face, made up of simple geometric shapes set into a symmetrical hexagon with rounded edges. The colors are vibrant and contrasting, and it is accompanied by a geometric sans-serif typeface that is both bold and distinctive.
I hope this new logo will be embraced by the community, as I think it will help elevate Amethyst to have a friendlier and more polished-looking brand, while still staying true to its origins, and the spirit of the Nostr. π

Coffee shops are just places where humans go to talk and do drugs together.
So I started a Bitcoiner meetup group in fiat headquarters (Washington, DC)... Hope I don't get arrested lol
After studying #Bitcoin long enough, you realize that money is supposed to be simple and straightforward.
It's just a ledger of who owns what.
Fiat money is complicated and opaque on purpose so that the people who control the ledger can lie, cheat, and steal from everyone else.
No more.
The world needs a fair, open, correct, incorruptible ledger and now it has one.

We are told the state protects our civil rights. In reality, we have to protect ourselves from the state infringing on our rights.

Keep up the great work Whitney
The legacy institutions are all losing their shit because we don't need them anymore.

It's a complex world. Bitcoin simplifies it so we can spend more time doing the things we love to do with the people we love.
I realized that I'm not crazy. The world is crazy and I let the insanity affect me and make me unwell.
Not making that mistake again.
The defining characteristic of America is lust.
Let's just call a spade a spade.
Our leaders lust for sex, money, power, and control. They have an unquenchable bloodlust as evidenced by the endless wars we wage and the news we are presented day-to-day.
Virtue does not matter to people in power in the United States of America. The only thing that matters is power, and it has crushed the soul of the entire nation. Some might argue the entire world.
The entire system is set up to incentivize accumulation of power into a few hands. It should come as no surprise that the country is falling apart at the seams. Or perhaps it has always been desperately trying to hold itself together.
There is hope for the powerless in the US and around the world, though. History teaches us that empires rise and empires fall.
Power cannot stay concentrated forever. It eventually collapses under its own weight.
The scary thing about the end of empires, though, is that the powerful cling on to their former glory. They have no morality, so they decide that the ends justify the means, and if they must massacre the powerless to stay in power, they will not hesitate to do so.
It's pure evil what we're going through right now. And yet the story is as old as time.
What are we to do? Fight back with morality and virtue. Don't be like them. Win through your actions and not your words. Be good, kind, caring, and just.
Let the powerful destroy themselves. And don't ever let them break you.
It will take time, patience, skill, and resourcefulness. But there will be a beautiful world on the other side of this hell. A world that isn't defined by lust. A society where peace is possible.
