When Ubuntu touch or graphene ?

Addendum: no global standard setting body will ever state the end goal of their standards. It's meant to capture the imagination and will of beaurocrats who want to make the world a better place. Laws will be passed, requirements set , I've no doubt about that

You have to be able to read through this type of text. Strengthening Global governance to ensure inclusivity and safety = identifying everyone using the internet and ensuring they don't "commit crimes".

The digital compact states it will create a governing body which will assess gaps in countries so they can be remediated, like the FATF.

This is all very nice sounding, like the SDGs, however when you look at the document all it says is " we will throw money at countries for digital development if they comply with our standards"

There is so much pent up gold suppression over the last 50 years... Built up by paper gold certificates and leverage. Small moves in gold mean big forces at play

Thank you for this. Must look up his writtings now

Listening to this this morning. Heard a lot about "sovereign man" and how taxes are voluntary, though still fail to see any real application of the principles. Most videos are just people using semantics to place themselves in contempt.

Will listen, always an interesting topic

Signal is sadly not as safe as it perhaps once was. Captchas are known to imbed tracking and fingerprinting (I have not looked at which captcha signal uses).

Simplex is a great program to use

This is fantastic, haven't read it through completely, but it appears to be some type of anonymous intellectual property system that's federated?

We should derive some type of master identity system which could be used to generate new identities from a central key, like how bitcoin uses one key to generate many public addresses.

Only difference is it would have to use words and numbers, e.g. a key could be used to generate the moniker "gardenelectorate2501" and "jasmineponder7866". This way usernames could be generated with one key, and the owner of the key could prove his various entities are his (but only when/if he wants to do so).

Another example of the people voicing their opinion by voting , and then crossing their fingers the person they elected does what they wanted

Representative democracies need a mechanism to keep elected representatives in check during term.

I chose to go nym instead of using my real name for a few reasons. One of which is that governments are increasingly focused on "spreading disinformation" and other "harmful content". They are trying to criminalize something that is entirely subjective and that needs to be interpreted by someone.

Incredibly dangerous that.

There's a principle in lawmaking that terms and concepts should be as clear as possible.

Another reason is because people tend to attack and judge the person instead of what the person is saying. Ad hominem attacks are a cheap tactic and I'd rather not have to deal with them .

If this number eventually gets to a point where it will be open to ad hominems, I'll just create another .

Try opening a number and speaking your mind. It's liberating.

Any FOI answer is public and unprotected by any disclosure laws, so a website could completely be done and would be 100% legal.

In fact, many jurisdictions do publish all foi answers provided. You might have to dig a bit but most FOI answers are posted usually.

What's missing is an easily searchable database a-la Wikipedia.

Her ask was quite extensive. I can see them taking a lot of time to reply to it. I suggested she drills down to the humans behind the report and get emails. She can also foi any reports or research written by those specific individuals. She can then also look at the affiliations/history of the authors, etc.
