I spoke about how governments are being taken over by global standard setting bodies (and thus less accountable to citizens) during my interview with Marty Bent on TFTC.

I think using "they" as a way to explain what is happening is intellectually lazy as it fails to take into account the shades of individual human personalities that are involved.

Again, I'm looking at this with a unique insider view I think few have.

Its easy to say "they" and piece this as an elaborate master plan, very difficult to trace the chain of cause and effect, even from within.

Sometimes it's just a speaker at a global conference that I fluences 5-8 bureaucrats who then go back to their countries and begin implementing measures.

I do admit there appears to be synergy between various governments around the world

As a government functionary, this is how little coincidences just happen to cross my path;

We all know the UK is registering chickens now. Well, my country, which has very little agriculture is now contemplating creating a farmers registry - where farmers will be asked to register what activities they engage in and crops they are growing.

The reason given is to be able to compensate them in the event of a natural disaster, so no doubt most will go ahead and register.

Where did this come from? Likely a global standard setting body of some kind feeding policy, research, money or all the above to my governments ministry.

I saw the same thing happen with digital ID. Suddenly all governments were passing laws, including my country. Came out of nowhere.

If you vote you support and represent a system of control that doesn't care about your best interest.

I'd love to know

1. Why goldbugs, who share the same values as freedom loving bitcoiners, are so against bitcoin; and

2. What could be done to unite goldbugs and bitcoiners - we are fighting the same fight.

The question is relevant to him given his religious values and how the show caters to a traditionally goldbug audience (or their children )
