In my opinion this is a blow off top. It's been in the makings for a few years now. If so we could be witnessing the death of gold. The last move before democratization. Don't get stuck holding know your exit. Don't be US government exit liquidity.
No i would say never a good idea to buy high and sell low. Gold is looking like a blow off and it is a very slow bag if you take a bad position. Also inflation cycles through markets gold runs then bitcoin and 18 tp 24 months later real estate.
