"... For the machine is immortal." But the machine does break. That's why I'm here.

Maybe.

Most engine control system tampering will error and cause various limp modes.

Keeping systems from entering limp modes means physically modifying hard coded, surface mount components in many cases.

I'm not saying it's impossible, just extremely unlikely outside determined nation-state level actors.

They are books. They contain the same information.

Many people do retain much more information from the act of reading, but that's not everyone.

Audio books work quite well for auditory learners and those that can multi-task reasonably well.

Round, sirloin, shank, and flank.

Basically lean cuts with minimal fat marbling.

Now there are several other makers.

Sadly, they're far out numbered by the comfortable.

If in trade for more useful skills, worth it.

Wasn't a Boogeyman.

It was occurring around large industrial areas due to aerosolized contaminants being exhausted to open air.

It was a localized issue that was grabbed by opportunists and expanded as a global effect to control governmental policies.

The most effective propaganda is a truth married to a lie.

We've been at the point for awhile where adding logic circuits to everything has had no positive effect.

Loss of faith in humanity I definitely get.

But it's what is intended in the first place.

Demoralization to hopelessness and depression to doing nothing.

No counteracting the intended narrative or movement.

It's a clever way to eliminate competition without spilling more blood than necessary. (That would be inefficient, if course)

There will always be a place for those that are working within their own means to live the life they intend, and are clever enough to adapt to a constantly changing landscape... Even a hostile one.

That was a "study" out of Belgium recently. (That breathing is contributing to global warming)
