The last couple of mins of the conversation sparked an idea that perhaps Lyn you’ve already considered. Guy mentioned at the end Energy is as base as it gets. Which triggered a link with Lyn’s earlier comments around ledgers.

The thought was ‘Is Energy is the base level of all ledgers?’. After all energy is natures money, and money is just a ledger, which would seem to suggest that energy is just nature’s ledger for the universe.

An inevitable heat death of the universe would suggest the universe's ledger is a function of energy over time?

Kinda already have this with strfry-policies. We check if an npub was a paid user before applying rate limits.

"This is a photo of a cannonball tree (Couroupita guianensis). It is known for its large, round fruits that resemble cannonballs, which are visible here growing directly on the trunk and branches. This is a characteristic feature of the tree, along with its large, fragrant flowers, which are not visible in this image. The tree is native to the rainforests of Central and South America but has been planted in various tropical areas around the world." -gpt4

sota self-hosted model rn is Mixtral if you have 26+ gb vram, otherwise the best open weight models seem to be orca, neural-chat, or solar. And codellama for code completion.

TheBloke has explamav2 GPTQ quants that I've been running on my oldass RTX2080

Rather transact in person with cash at a meetup. The "no-kyc"-ness of robo seems a little soft given the use of bank cards and all that

The pleb users need to understand their pubkey is portable. Do they even need to be aware of relays? I'm not really sure. Otherwise they probably don't need to know more details the that.

Non-pleb users with large followings will have a vested interest in understanding the protocol due to incentives though, there I agree with you.

iirc the default strfry limit is 64kb per note, big enough for large contact lists. We could write a strfry-policies filter that only accepted kind1 notes of a more limited size.

I don't disagree, or use either of those OS, but vim-mode fixes this. Copy is yw and paste is p

But having a smaller keyboard (or bigger hands) probably fixes this too.
