I’ve had Damus TestFlight for probably over a year and when my membership lapsed briefly, I lost it 😰

The FUD around his re-election is honestly not true. It was a bad argument that has fooled several people. In order to irradicate a bad government you will have to break the rules. This tends to resonate with Bitcoiners usually. Not sure why you don’t see that as we fight the rule of law daily.

He isn’t perfect, I know. No government is, but when it comes to the level of oppression in the US vs. in El Salvador it’s a no brainer if you have spent more than a few days here.

Residency and citizenship are fairly easy and should be done as a backup option at a minimum. Fair warning, residency is contingent on the fact that you live here 3/4 of the year.

Naw, if I zap you publicly, it will show up on all clients as public. You can’t require that people only send you anon zaps.

Yeah we can zap anonymously on Damus as well. But if someone zaps me publicly there’s nothing I can do to make it private, it’s just out there in public now.

You should be able to choose if you want received zaps to be anonymous or public.

The sender can choose too as long as it doesn’t violate your preferences, but I think we got the priority on privacy backwards on this one.

Running orbit how long does it take to load your nostr feed?

Also doesn’t running orbit interfere with your vpn?
