Costa Rica is so humid and so full of big scary bugs that I just don't have the energy to be anxious about anything anymore. Who knew heat could be such a chill pill. Texas heat doesn't bother me, Florida heat doesn't bother me, but I guess i've found my limit here, and it's still only the dry season.
I always opt out of the scanners at the airport for a pat down instead, but honestly every TSA lady that's helped me has been very nice and respectful about it and it's always worth it to exercise that choice and avoid the extra radiation.
