Spent several weeks running GrapheneOS with the battery optimization setting enabled. This setting is supposed to cap charging at 80% to increase battery longevity.

For whatever reason, enabling this setting really killed my battery life because many times after plugging in to charge overnight, it wouldn't even charge to 80% and I risked having the phone run out of juice before the end of the day.

I’ve expressed my share of criticisms, as I have with every app I’ve used, and there are still some things I wish to see them change, but there are some people on here who have become completely irrational. Competition is good. Legitimate criticisms and concerns should be raised. But outright FUD only hurts the reputation of the people spreading it.
