I don’t think it’s bad to eat bananas. Fructose is different from processed sugars

Is it? How so?

First of all, all things need to be in moderation, not saying to eat a bunch of bananas. They have natural sugar alongside potassium, B6, C and fiber. An average banana has 14 grams of sugar. There’s way worse things out there for people to be aware of

And molecularly, processed sugar is refined, gets absorbed faster, and has exposure to all sorts of chemical reagents. I’m obviously not a doctor or chemist, but had this conversation with my own doctor recently as I had the same question and so decided to research

dont touch my bread, i like my bread ! :D

Bread is poverty food.

Hi Ken

What do you think of Durian rider ?

I believe I heard that fruit based sugar, like grapes, comes with other nutrients which help your body handle the sugar healthfully. Probably a more widely applicable paradigm for your consideration.

bananas and dates are pretty good for early morning pre-run fuel.

but the rest of this list is a hard pass for me
