Exactly. Everyone I know puts butter on bread except for a few "crazy carnivores" and yet people claim that butter is the problem. This is one of the most obvious cases of confounders.

The only other equally obvious one that comes to mind is hot dogs. They are always eaten with bun or bread. Funnily enough I was warned as a kid not to eat hot dogs without bread claiming that it'll make me sick. I tried once and it didn't make me sick but I just assumed I didn't eat enough for it to manifest. I ate only one.

That's the halving period difference πŸ€”

It's actually Bitcoin that freed Ross. Becoming so important that even the US president has to listen to its hodlers and "crazy anarchists" and even deliver on his promise.

But it's also the fact that "crazy anarchists" are numerous enough in Bitcoin. If Bitcoin was just a get-rich scheme with no values it wouldn't have worked. If you're a "crazy anarchist" you can take some comfort that you contributed a tiny bit.

It's really poetic that the thing that sparked his rebelion leading to his imprisonment is the same thing that freed him.

Even more importantly, it's anti-KYC policy.

Doesn't make that much difference in my mind, but you are technically correct.

The collecting rain water ban is so wild to me. How can US call itself "land of the free" while banning that? Gotta be one of the craziest laws out there.

It's a way to risk your bitcoins by both putting them into custody and linking them to bug-ridden ethereum network running PoS which is less secure consensus mechanism.

If you need smart contracts you can use Bitcoin directly. If you've heard "You can do smart contracts on Ethereum but not Bitcoin" you've heard false marketing. If you have specific contract in mind you can ask me, I might know how to do it.

I drank raw milk daily for about 17 years. Absolutely no problem with safety.

Now that I'm older and want to stay in ketosis I limit my intake to 2dl per day. But I don't drink it daily snyway.

The approach of making it resemble human is fundamentally broken. It limits how smart it can become. Until people change it there's no exponential. And it may take a long time to realize it and find a solution.
