Yeah, beyond a certain point wealth doesn't even benefit the rich. Because wealth only has value as long as everyone plays the "have respect for other people's property game." People tend to play this game because we're all safer as a result from doing so, and the rich benefit especially from everyone playing this game.
But when the majority of the population are ground down so deeply into the mud that they stop respecting other people's property then property itself becomes worthless.

I've logged in through Primal right now. What do I need to do to cut out all the people I don't follow?
How do I only get messages from people who I follow in my Home Feed?
Do we really need more volatility? Isn't the volatility of pure Bitcoin high enough?
"When I find a whole bunch of people creating new heroes that are just faster centralization, and talk about those leaders as saving their lives through a different from of centralization, it feels like the same old trick being done over and over again". - nostr:npub1s05p3ha7en49dv8429tkk07nnfa9pcwczkf5x5qrdraqshxdje9sq6eyhe at the following podcast 44m:02s.
This was an awesome podcast at the great nostr:npub1cj8znuztfqkvq89pl8hceph0svvvqk0qay6nydgk9uyq7fhpfsgsqwrz4u Bitcoin podcast:

I absolutely whole-heartedly agree with Jeff Booth and think this aspect is truly absolutely fundamental. It seems like we are hard wired for sociability (belonging to the tribe) and that in the extreme leads to the cult of personality. This is not good at all as we've seen countless times in history. Truth should be above any individual.
I think this is also what nostr:npub1sn0wdenkukak0d9dfczzeacvhkrgz92ak56egt7vdgzn8pv2wfqqhrjdv9 was alluding with the idea of "cast a vote but don't join a cult" at the nostr:npub1t8a7uumfmam38kal4xaakzyjccht4y5jxfs4cmlj0p768pxtwu8skh56yu conference a few months ago.
While it's phenomenal to see the change that is happening in the US, simultaneously I think it's just a bit better.
Elon Musk wouldn't be Elon Musk without large hordes of government money . That's just a fact. And etc, etc, etc with many people in that camp. But sure, there's no denying this is a positive advance in the global liberty field.
Bitcoin is the greatest free market that ever came in to this world.
We need better leaders BUT most of all we need better systems. Bitcoin is one of the most important better systems we have.
We still live in an 99% extractive economy. The goal is to live in a truly productive and free economy.

In the interest of honesty, I must point out that 1.86% of bitcoin wallet addresses own 90% of the total bitcoin supply.
So spending power in bitcoin is highly concentrated.

Great idea!
BTW, just as a casual observation, I'm following you, but you haven't followed me back yet.
IMHO Intentional communities powered by crypto is the way forward. Crypto people tend to spend their time tapping away at screens developing all these fancy software governance protocols but 99% of such protocols don't govern anything worth governing.
Humans are physical creatures that need food and shelter. I think step 1 of cryptocurrency protocols should be governing the production of, and access to food, and shelter.
In this respect, I like the closer.earth platform, they try to apply cryptocurrency to managing real world resources:
It's hard to determine the direction of future software development, if you're not using the software to coordinate the production of goods that people value - which is why I'm a massive advocate for applying cryptocurrency/decentralised protocols to intentional communities.
I wrote a Philosophy book in detail which mentions rights, among other things. But mostly I value exit. The right to get out of a system and switch to a system you feel works better.
I wouldn't consider myself a pure libertarian. I'm just a guy that think government tyranny has gone far too far. Especially after COVID. Which is why, post-COVID at least, I've started increasingly associating with libertarians.
I'd certainly much rather live in a libertarian society than in the society we seem to be heading towards becoming.
