We need Ethereum and all the other sh!t-coins. They are the test net of ideas. The bitcoin ecosystem will use the best-of-the-best ideas and integrate them into the upper layers.

I see it as the sh!t-coins are protecting Bitcoin by experimenting outside of the real money.
