Is there some information / feed that the Bird site has that you wish #Nostr had?
I am in a chat group with some friends I made on the Internet.
We never message each other in the chat, as a precaution, in case one of the members has been compromised.
We have never met in person, as a precaution, in case one of the members has been compromised.
We don't even have the chat app installed on our phones, in case the app itself has been compromised.
Best friends I have ever had. #privacy

#AMA about #Nuclear Power.
It's not really possible to opt out. Solar and Wind are not really renewable. Wind turbines have a lifespan of about 15 years. The only country that can produce solar panels on scale is China, and it is only competitive to setup due to government subsidies.
Both are also intermittent. What will one do when there is no wind, or at night when there is no sun?
Nuclear power on the other hand runs 24/7. If one lived their entire life on nuclear power, the "waste" they would generate would fit in a Coke can. That is far less than the pollution from coal, oil, natural gas (a nice word for methane).

This 1999 Digital Camera Uses Tiny Clik Disks! Agfa CL30
Checking out the world's first (and only) digital camera using Iomega Clik disks for storage! Each disk held 40MB and cost just $10, a tenth the price of CompactFlash. Quite impressive in 1999! But this odd diversion in the late 90s digicam market was short lived, and its impact on digital photography is... well, no one remembers it. But it sure was neat!
LOL I meant to the kids today. Not to me. 😀 I of course am very familiar with this.
How Central Banks Broke Money with Matthew Mežinskis
Matthew Mežinskis is the creator of the Crypto Voices podcast and Porkopolis Economics website. In this interview, we discuss the concept of base money, a comparison of global currency valuations (including #Bitcoin), COVID-19’s impact on the monetary base, limitations of the current monetary system, government debt, inflation, political problems, and the need for change.
How about explaining the connection between these two items?
