Yeah, well… I had to clear an area which was covered by self-seeding plants and there was a lot of wood underneath it and some debries.

Some back and musle pain was present the other day, so I guess that one can count as “hard work”. But most of the days I just move stuff around with a wheelbarrow and shovel, norhing really serious.

I am practicing this as well for a few weeks and yes, I feel much better.

Ja uz asi sedm let dozadu mel skvelou zkusenost s paleo dietou. Tam se cca 40-79g sacharidu denne prijme ze zeleniny. To mi prislo i takove vyvazenejsi a dlouhodobe nehrozila takova nuda z jidla jako mozna hrozi u carnivoru. Ale to zatim nepozoruji, je to moc kratka doba.

I lasagne jsem si umel udelat (z cukety) nebo ruzne nahrazky spaget existuji, co se daji (nizkokaloricky koren z japonska nebo soagetova dyne).

Zatim abstaky nepozoruju. Vcera jsem dokonce byl ve sve nejoblibenejsi restauraci a naprosto v pohode jsem si vydrzel nedat ani opecenou bsgetku, ani naprosto nejlepsi cheesecake nebo fondan. Takze si rikam, ze abstaky uz mam asi za sebou.

Kafe? Zajimava otazka. Ja mel brutalni abstaky kdyz jsem kafe 3 dny nemel - tak bolesti hlavy az migreny. Jak dele vysadit kafe - jeste pred casem mi zafungoval jen pust ten treti den a tenhle withdrawal efekt neprisel.

Carnivore byl prvni zpusob ne-pustu ktery zafungoval podobne.

Takze kafe uz jsem par tydnu nemel taky. Asi mi trochu chybi ten ritual, ale kafe samotne me stejne uz nijak nestimulovalo. Trn efekt stimulace mi mnohem lip dodava to, kdyz vynecham snidani a jim vlastne jen 2x denne - takovy (na nase zvyklosti) ranny obed okolo 12. a pak brzkou veceri nejhur mezi patou sestou. Jsem plne syt, netrpim hladem.

Trosku me desi ze podle tabulek prijimam mezi 1400-1600 kaloriemi denne, coz je podle vsech moznych tabulek malo.

Ale pritom splnuju tuky i bilkoviny, proste jen chybi ty sacharidy.

A taky vim, ze kdyz jsem zkousel takove ty klasicke diety typu “misto rohliku si dejte krekr” a podobne blbosti, tak i u 1900 kalorii a vice jsem neustale citil hlad. Tady ne. Takze si rikam, ze to asi fakt celou dobu ovladaji nase chute ty proklate sacharidy.

Coz se vracim na zacatek - mnohem mene jsem jedl i pred temi sedmi lety na tom paleu. A to jsem tenkrat dostal dolu taky pres 20 kilo behem asi 11 mesicu.

Nemam, ale je to opravdu extremne jednoduche.

Maso (vcetne ryb), vajicka, syry (pochopil jsem ze cim zralejsi, tim lepsi, ale ja si dopravam i mlade az cerstve), vyjimecneji plnotucny jogurt (10% a vice tuku), nebo tvaroh, smetanu…

Obcas kdyz nestiham, dopreju si “procesovane maso” v podobe kvalitni klobasky, parek, francouzske nebo italske salamy atp.

Co se tyce masa, preferovano jest hovezi - mam sam nastudovano malo, ale ve zkratce asi tak, ze cervene maso neskodi tak jak nam tvrdi, naopak. Z dostupnych mas je asi nutricne nejhodnotnejsi a nevede ke vzniku dny a jinych onemocneni ktere by se jinak mely tendenci projevovat pri “nadmerne kombinaci”.

Po case si chci nechat zmerit ketony a kyselinu mocovou (dna) ale pry to byva nad ocekavani v pohode u tech co to drzi dlouho.

Minimum exercise - but a few days of hard work in the garden, maybe a few walks with my children in the stroller. Nothing serious though.

And hey - 15minutes of joga the first day :D

21 days of #carnivore, -10.1 kg (22lbs).

I am still in awe how easy it is once you start.

I can’t say I enjoy every meal I eat, but something snapped in my brain and it doesn’t matter to me. I just eat it and carry on with my life.

I sleep better.

But the biggest impact I had so far is that I no longer experience a brain fog from eating too much #carbs and #gluten.

I don’t agree with you on Harry Potter part but still I am willing to die for your right to say this. :)

Finally some Proof of Work - I managed to clear around 40 sqm (or ~430 sqft) of our land.

There was a lot of old wood but covered by a lot of self-seeding plants and blackberry bushes - which is a pain in the ass.

Hopefully I can clear the rest in upcoming weeks so I could call a tractor which will tear out the stumps of earlier bushes and trees.

Simmilar problems here. We bought a parcel for our future house so I had to spend some hard earned cash on new locks, garden tractor and equipment. I hope it’ll be worth it.

It was around $3k total, so basicaly 0.1 BTC. It feels too much for me, but it was needed.

This is what #carnivore does to #people. I was forced to shorten my belt by 10cm (almost 4”) after 20 days of eating only meat, eggs and diary products.

To be fair… I had a really long one, so 10cm for me is like 2cm for a normal person.

But still happy. Way to go!

Yes. Also we should work hard to bring simple and easily available solutions. Yesterday I spent half of my saturday trying to get rid of some waste in the right way.

Between us, I now understand why there is so much waste left in the wilds, because when you want to do the right thing, the system will give you a hard time. But throwing the stuff out is free and simple.
