I’ve seen a couple posts that are #NSFW of protesters 😢 it’s hard to look at. A notice or blurred image/video would help understand the type of content we could be seeing when scrolling.
I am not one for censoring but a notice would be helpful with some types of content.

In the 1990’s I dropped out of college to build what we would now call a SaaS startup providing calendar software, I was good at naming, so i called the company metaevents, because it helped you find information about events, and the software was calendrome. Anyway, it’s long since gone, but thanks to the internet archive’s way back machine, there’s an archive of it online! Look at that amazing 90’s design.

The episode will be released on August 30th. After that, we'll take a week off before launching our new show (the worst-kept secret).
After 7 years, 860 podcasts, countless flights, and visiting about 40 countries, the time is right. Time is precious. I need to travel less and focus on Bedford, the football team, family and bringing to life everything we've discussed over the past 7 years.

Users shouldn’t be manipulated from the time they login. Platforms are like Casinos, they don’t want you to know the time or how long you’ve been playing. They watch your every move and don’t want you to know. They just want to keep giving you dopamines and distractions away from truth and reality. Algos profit the board not the user. We are getting played everytime we login to their systems.

In platform worlds users feed off negativity because it’s cheap chaos with no value intended. Unfortunately, it helps create the endless scroll dopamine…
In the protocol world positivity rises from collective user’s incentivizing others from the experience they get to share. Helping the user find what they are looking for through growth engagement.
Transparency and ownership away from governed manipulated chaos is the freedom we are looking for.
