I sincerely find it difficult to understand how to produce all that JSON
there's this newb that needs followers, nostr:npub18a5dah5p2jwvppz04ljj3u2hfdg7p908fy05dz7edz0cwaumhqwsqjpzjs
Starting a meeting requires logging in with big tech, or otherwise I have to self host it which I won't do
Freedom tech is about having freedom to do things
The state of video conferencing freedom tech is pretty bad
“Alice trusts (or doesn’t trust) Bob for all actions, in all categories.” – how do you represent that today in a nostr event?
Is simply "Alice trusts Bob" a valid statement in your framework?
do you have a link for investors buying remote land in Argentina?
If you’re using Nos and follow nostr:npub1sn0wdenkukak0d9dfczzeacvhkrgz92ak56egt7vdgzn8pv2wfqqhrjdv9 then you already can have him do your moderation.

One of the features I'm planning for zap.store: choose your own app curator

A few questions:
- have you drafted or implemented any NIPs for attestations?
- have you considered non-hierarchical taxonomies?
- do you recognize a difference between automatic curation (which I think you're after) and trust hints for manual curation?
In the case of zap.store (it's an appstore, not a physical products store) users will *never* have applications auto-installed because their Grapevine told them it's okay. There's a concious decision during a manual approval of whether to install an application or not. A strong WoT is there to help transmit high signal.
To be honest with you, Tapestry sounds well thought out but I have a million things to do and can't dive deep into it. Have you thought of putting something simpler out there, and let dev feedback guide the design instead? (I guess something like nostr vs bluesky)
seeing their notes is not trusting them, is it?
Yeah I don't know, not sure I'm ready to self-host jitsi. Never tried SimpleX for video (but... why don't they sign their releases?)
Keet is a good one, thanks. I can't understand why they don't open source it.
I’d suggest that we apply a naive model of WoT when we look only at follows and followers. nostr:npub1u5njm6g5h5cpw4wy8xugu62e5s7f6fnysv0sj0z3a8rengt2zqhsxrldq3 is doing much deeper work to build a more meaningful web of trust.
Follows + mute lists are kind of fine for now. I'm trying to figure out a simpler way of signalling trust without going full in Tapestry (but that can eventually evolve to it)
nostr:npub1u5njm6g5h5cpw4wy8xugu62e5s7f6fnysv0sj0z3a8rengt2zqhsxrldq3 also working on this with the Tapestry protocol
I'm not sure about this one. I think we trust people in varying degrees, and then we intersect that with stuff they're good or bad at. There's a subtle difference
Yes, absolutely. I follow two people who I know are complete nutcases. I definitely don't trust them but I enjoy it from a psychological standpoint.
I'm working on something related to this
In order to create a meeting Jitsi Meet forces you to log in with Big Tech 🤦🏻‍♂️
where's our nostr-powered alternative?
