Being a pensioner in Argentina struggling to make ends meet is an obvious display of the corruption of the State.
It is also karma for feeding these parasites for decades, taking no personal responsibility and doing nothing smarter to preserve wealth.
what does this mean, 2-hop wot? configurable?

Patience my friends. We'll get multiple providers. Step by step
way better than telecrap
This is awesome nostr:npub1qe3e5wrvnsgpggtkytxteaqfprz0rgxr8c3l34kk3a9t7e2l3acslezefe ! Also great to hear that Lineage works - I received many bug reports from that OS
That's a good take, we should talk about the incentives to publicly mute/report
I will build it with nostr:npub10r8xl2njyepcw2zwv3a6dyufj4e4ajx86hz6v4ehu4gnpupxxp7stjt2p8
App distribution is key and so underrated and underexplored. Nostr enables the creator economy fueled by micropayments and other social signal.
Pasting the note from the bad bird app, a reply to Amjad Masad from Replit.
"@amasad I know you're focused on building a better dev product.
I think you should 1000% find a team with consumer chops to help you rethink the Replit experience so it feels more like a creator than a dev experience.
Since distribution is the bottleneck, how do you make it super simple for people to find a world of software hosted on Replit that does what they need it to do?
Can they duet or remix it? Can it be like the Steam marketplace where people just buy once instead of racking up subscriptions? Comments and likes? Can Replit allow you to record a Replit-hosted video and walkthrough?
Like, if I were thinking about it, I'd do exactly what YouTube did and just have a bunch of knock-offs of existing software available on Replit for free or where people could just do micropayments to access it.
Because if it's this easy to make really basic software, then the assumptions as to distribution of software need to change, and all the value will [again] accrue to the distro layer, not the production layer."
Sure, but it's much easier to avoid reusing a bitcoin address than a nostr pubkey. Reviews I leave on Amazon linked to my identity may not be available to anyone outside Amazon. In a public nostr marketplace I would be incentivized to leverage my social capital to leave a review with my main npub and not a new nym. Of course I could have different npubs for different purposes. Just stating the tradeoff here.
Many mute lists are private, that's an issue
Advertisers have to pay big tech to track and target users, for a limited amount of time.
With nostr, they can just use our relays to track and target us, anytime.
WoT fixes this?
Yes, exactly. By VPNs I meant the big VPN providers which will get 90% of the job done.
Javascript's massive mindshare among developers. Another nice language is Kotlin, and I think they also do multiplatform. IIRC Phoenix wallet is built on that (including the phoenix server). Amethyst, Amber and Citrine too.
Nah, probably 99% of packages are open source. No rug risk. Just tracking, maybe.
Dart is a great language, much better than JS/TS in my opinion - especially now that they are adding metaprogramming abilities. The compiler is solid, devtools are great.
Flutter is fast and will output to pretty much anything (including web, though it definitely does not *feel* like web) and there are tons of libraries in the ecosystem. Including many good native OS looking widget libraries like Material, Cupertino, Adwaita, etc.
Downsides: Less devs than Javascript, obviously. And too much reliance on Google, who could pull the plug. But it's open source and so many companies are invested in it that I highly doubt it will die.
Here comes the third prong to fuck #AUStriches once and for all.
Digital ID comes in December, both sides of government are pushing legislation to have social media users KYCed (see note below and image 3) which will be here mid-2025.
And now theyβre pushing ahead with the mis- and disinformation bill which defines βharmβ so broadly (image 2) that there is no escape.
No more posting about Bitcoin, that harms the economy. No more disagreeing with net zero lunacy, that harms the environment. No questioning vaccines, that harms health.
If you do - theyβll have your identity and will come and arrest you for breaking this new law.
Bye bye Australia π¦πΊ https://v.nostr.build/SUzWO8tItR8kdbKF.mp4

How are they going to deal with nostr?
sdkmanager stopped working, there are missing jars and some other weird stuff. I had set it up via CLI not Android Studio
I thought I'd never touch Maven, JARs and Java classpaths again... I was wrong. Thank you Android for making my dev life miserable once again.
in hindsight, the 90s were pretty damn good
I also would like to understand. I guess mutes, but there's a bunch of them
But client side maybe do something about the constant result refreshing. I know it's hard
That's the way... we just need better NIP-50 relays π
The only thing that sucks for me (and for which I open Primal) is search
My fav client π
Hey nostr:nprofile1qqswfa547pdmqkerzf2uen3agudc67wxffjmenqpge3dylc006fppyspzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ytnzv9hxgqghwaehxw309aex2mrp0yhxvmm4de6xz6tw9enx6qgkwaehxw309aex2mrp0yh8qunfd4skctnwv46qj40rct it was great to meet you in Riga. I forgot to ask, where can we find the Fountain APK?
If you don't publish it, do you mind confirming here so that we stop looking?
π Last year, nostr:npub19jfsjxx7gtw2t52qepx93ek57fdstfwszct3qqwzns4zxmvsc5gswf8rx0 became the first sports club on Nostr.
π«‘ Today, we become the first sports club running a Nostr relay: https://relay.botev.sv/
This relay would not be happening without:
- The inspiration that we got from nostr:npub1dergggklka99wwrs92yz8wdjs952h2ux2ha2ed598ngwu9w7a6fsh9xzpc's writings in 2023
- The contagious enthusiasm of nostr:npub16c0nh3dnadzqpm76uctf5hqhe2lny344zsmpm6feee9p5rdxaa9q586nvr, nostr:npub18ams6ewn5aj2n3wt2qawzglx9mr4nzksxhvrdc4gzrecw7n5tvjqctp424, nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx, nostr:npub1v0lxxxxutpvrelsksy8cdhgfux9l6a42hsj2qzquu2zk7vc9qnkszrqj49
- The time invested by nostr:npub1mnwjn40hr042rsmzu64rsnwsw07uegg4tjkv620c94p6e797wkvq3qeujc to actually set up https://relay.botev.sv/
This is a small but important step in our recommittment to freedom.
π WHY?
1. Our club is named afer the poet and freedom fighter Hristo Botev, who died fighting for our country's freedm. Botev famously wrote "Only one who is free can be called human in the full sends of the word".
2. Botev FC suffered heavily to centralization and censorship during the Bulgarian communist era, when the team was forced to change its name to "Trakia" and was repeately mistreated in favor of communist-friendly clubs.
Embracing Bitcoin and Nostr is, therefore, the most natural step for our club's identity and historical roots.
If Hristo Botev was alive, he would have been a Bitcoiner running a full node and a Norst relay.
In the past year, we have mostly been cross-posting from Twitter to Nostr. But for us this is just the beginning. We already have plans for Nostr-exclusive content and keep looking for:
- the right Nostr clients that enable us to reinvent fan engagement;
- the best way to utilize our relat for our community;
- new purple paradigms and projects.
It was thrilling to join nostr:npub1nstrcu63lzpjkz94djajuz2evrgu2psd66cwgc0gz0c0qazezx0q9urg5l's Nostriga. The energy I felt in people reminded of the energy described in Ben Merzlich's "Bitcoin Billionaires" book about the Winklevos brothers. It is an honor to part of this community.
LET'S BUILD!
Following our club's slogan BEAUTY. FAITH. FIGHT.
π We see the BEAUTY of Nostr and Bitcoin.
π We have FAITH Nostr and Bitcoin can make the world freer
βοΈ We contribute to this worthwhile FIGHT.
π The βΏest is Yet to Come!
β½ One Goal At a Time!

Awesome. Was great to meet you man
Private property should always be respected, except when a car alarm goes off at 5am and for literally hours. I think I have a natural right to destroy such car.
GM! Damn I'm jealous, love that stuff and here it's incredibly flat
