Even better, enzymes that saturate the unsaturated fats in plant matter
HAHAHHA
Will fix the version in zapstore asap, been having some issues with it but hopefully nostr:npub1wf4pufsucer5va8g9p0rj5dnhvfeh6d8w0g6eayaep5dhps6rsgs43dgh9 will iron them out soon π€π€
Fixed since yesterday! Republish with --overwrite-release π€
Because this whole thing might hurt you more than him
Great writeup
People will discover nostr through great products built on it - not purple pilling the protocol.
Most don't give a shit about censorship resistance or tamper proof messages.
They will be using nostr without even knowing or caring
Amethyst picks up all the notifications just fine. Does Pokey work much differently?
Agree!
There are many great alternatives to Keet features, however. Not the case for desktop operating systems. I use MacOS (kinda forced to) and Linux, and Graphene on mobile.
Can I build nostr:nprofile1qqs83nn04fezvsu89p8xg7axjwye2u67errat3dx2um725fs7qnrqlgzqtdq0 on the Bluesky open protocol?
Yes, I know the pear stack is foss. It's just that there is no way to verify what Keet is doing with messages and metadata. Need to assume anything you send there is public.
Man just reinstalled Zapstore 0.1.5 from a weak cell connection via VPN in Japan...and it works fine
Wtf is going on!
Did not get that impression but its possible.
Calculating chunk hashes as we download. Performing a hash check after download is a worse tradeoff from my experience
Hope to move that to Rust/C code vs Dart
Appreciate your answer and nothing against you, but if this is what they say that justification makes no sense to me.
Which are the Keet-specific parts that lots of other things would be built on? Does their stack has that much traction with developers? Or is it something else?
Too much cathedral/ central planning for an open protocol for my taste
Is Keet open source yet?
Interesting. I thought it was a relay issue (sqlite fts not working very well). Could push a new app release see if it helps for some reason
Thank you for being here π«
How is going your experience wit nostr:nprofile1qqst4dr6ttrw6s28squnwwuj5vsvsly33h7r4nsuzz3f8nf3wjsmk9cpr9mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuumwdae8gtnnda3kjctv9uy7cdun so far? Did you ever miss a notification? Let's read all the feedback on the comments π
Love the idea but never got it to receive a single notification π using filter.nostr.wine if that changes anything
Purple city... we need a nostr conference in #BuenosAires during this time of the year
Cane sugar consumption has significantly decreased over the past decades, while unsaturated fat has skyrocketed (around the world)
There are many factors at play to explain lack of satiety, huge portions, etc, also linked to lifestyle.
In the USA some of these factors are very pronounced. You won't find many countries with such level of obesity even when they eat the same amount of carbs
Investigating issues in the new zapstore relay db
Great way of spending a Friday night :/
I like this but would leave out the "centralized control" phrasinf. Not sure how to word it but focus more on where we going rather than what we are escaping from
I would not focus immediately on the negative. State how awesome nostr is
Then below use questions such as "have you ever had x/ig/tiktok removed a comment you made?" (Or any similar questions any normie can relate to)...and then present the nostr solution more fleshed out
I'm talking about the purchasing power 1 btc gives you, not how much energy it took
I understand the 1 btc = 1 btc meme but isn't it a bit hypocritical?
Isn't it conveying the idea that the price does not matter?
I find it hard to believe a significant increase in purchasing power for someone's goods and services makes no difference
Sure. I am referring to relays to write notes to
Why 3-5? I'm arguing for one relay per user, and probably out of a set of popular ones. When you aggregate relays in an outbox model, you want to connect to as few as possible. The more relays the worse UX. This is how we lose.
An interesting alternative is to have relays that work as aggregators like filter.nostr.wine
Why do we connect/publish to so many relays?
It seems like an absolute waste of bandwidth, storage, processing when probably no one here is being censored.
Not a good tradeoff in my view: it directly leads to worse UX, which directly leads to less adoption.
