I'm currently working on the first book in a series, and I want the covers to be at least somewhat uniform. I saw got inspired today and made something I actually like.

I still have a long way to go, but I'm making progress! 😎

"Please let this weird podcast be done soon so I can go use the bathroom?!!"

My husband and his mom has really curly hair... having spent some time visiting the in-laws, my naturally super straight hair now had curls too 😎 at least for a little bit.

Dating isn't primary about attraction or good feelings of connection. It's about sorting!

What are your dealbreakers, and deal-makers? Dating can help you figure out more of these. I talked to a guy who didn't like physical touch, potatoes, or chewing... I love or enjoy all of these, but hadn't realized I needed to put them on my lift before talking to him. I'd never thought of it until then, but I actually enjoy the sound of snapping carrots and chewing potato chips.

Don't settle if what you really want is a life partner. Be strategic and selective, go on lots of dates, but actually get to know the person, don't just play on your emotions.

This is what my husband had been doing for a long time, and I'd only just started doing, when we came across each other, and he realized I was the first woman in a quite some time that he even wanted to ask out on a second date... and then some 😎 but had he not been sorting, figuring out what he actually wanted, he might not have known that I would be a great choice for him.

Haha, my global feed went from mostly Japanese translated posts, to ChatGPT user descriptions. 🀣

About to start writing on my book again, and as I looked out the window at the heavy rainfall, it hit me that at the cliffhanger between two chapters, I mentioned rain, but then never commented in it at the start of the next chapter πŸ˜…πŸ€£ going to fix that right now! πŸ˜‡

Yesterday my husband asked, "are you decent?" When he was coming over with his mom.

"No!", I answered, fully dressed. I hadn't put my engagement ring on yet! πŸ’πŸ€£

The wedding band was on though, so even if I forget the engagement ring, it's clear that I'm taken! 😎

Haha, apparently I didnt. πŸ˜…

Haha, that's funny.

But also, wouldn't it be funny to see just one episode where they stepped out and dared speak the truth? Just to see what would happen... πŸ€”β˜ΊοΈ

Yes, I agree! πŸ™‚

I'm fine with cheesy shows, but sometimes I wish for smarter writing. What would happen if the love story started with someone being honest about their feelings and ask someone out directly? Or someone who feels ashamed over getting sick, pushed last that fear and told their lived ones?

I do see it sometimes and I'm always happily surprised.

Have you ever watched a movie or tv show and thought, "if they told the truth, the whole show would be over in 2 minutes, and the writers would need to be really creative if they wanna make something longer!" 🀣

Watching a korean tv show, and we keep thinking it's done, but then it keeps going! No complaints here!! 😁

If you want to get married, don't ask, "wanna hang out?" Ask, "would you like to go on a date with me?"

Husband goes, "You know how to build a fire, right?"

"Noooo?" I answer hesitantly.

"Really?!"

"Well, I'm not sure."

"You put kindling at the bottom and some big pieces on top. I'll leave you to it." And walks away

Me: 😳 "eh, okay... what's kindling?"

A few minutes later... nope, I just burned a piece of paper towel. πŸ˜…

Dad jokes are how I think, they come too naturally sometimes that I don't even realize what I said.... though I will never be a dad! 🀣🀣🀣 100% woman, and never gonna enter any delusion that contradicts that! 😎

With a one word answer? To all of the 400 questions, once.

Rub a carrot on an aspirin until it's coated in orange, then force it down her throat? Maybe hide it in some food, that sometimes works better. πŸ€”πŸ€£

They have the same issue in Sweden, that's supposed to be free healthcare. Unless you're healthy enough to fight, you'll be stuck in a long line, waiting for months.

Some of the older population tend to say that it's not so bad, and yes they can move on their own, so they don't send someone as urgently as would really be necessary. I heard someone say, "you tell them that no, you can't move!" Just to get someone out there quickly. Or whatever you need to in order to get an early appointment for whatever you need to get checked for.
