I meant more that most people are aware of them, even if they choose to not follow them. I've always tried to be good and live well, but I had never come across the details that withholding how I feel when someone does something (good or bad) will keep you more separate from your spouse.

And I knew some don't get hints, but I didn't get the weight of it.

Sharing directly and authentically, anything from small to big, good to bad, is a way of being vulnerable and inviting the other person closer.

It was life changing!

Those are great too, but most people are aware of those, but are not aware of how important it is to share what's really going on inside us.

A lot of women have a tendency to hold things in until it comes out in anger or bickering. Instead of telling their husbands that they don't like when he puts his shoes on the couch when he first does it, and kindly ask hlif he can help her out by not doing that in their home, she holds it in and waits until it starts coming out through annoyance.

"Why do you always put your dirty shoes on the couch, it's getting ruined and I need to clean it.." and so on. (For example)

So practicing beforehand will make it a lot easier to share a household and stay married if little things are dealt with early, instead of them building up and the home environment becomes contentious, which is one of the most common reasons for divorce.

If you are single and want to prepare yourself for a life long marriage, start practicing secret minimization.

Find a friend or family member that you like and wanna be closer with, and start sharing your likes and dislikes, and your dreams.

If someone says something that hurts you, practice saying it to them in the moment. Remove emotion if possible, and simply say, "that hurt".

If you're a hinter, start practicing asking for what you really want, directly!

If you're a woman taking to a man, and ask him a direct question without the fluff, and chances are really high that he'll be extremely appreciative!

Staying humble is referring to the attitude, where as modesty can easily be misunderstood as in bitcoin terms as not getting all the sats we can get, but to stay modest about it.

I can have 90% of all the bitcoin and still act humbly.

Humility is valuing others. Modesty is more about not exposing oneself to others (not just when it comes to clothes)

We used to eat out a lot due to the lack of a kitchen. So today when we went out to eat it felt way more like a proper date, especially as we ended the night with a movie!

We had a blast at a new year's eve party tonight.

I told at least 3 people about Nostr, and one looked it up, and another took notes so he could check it out later. 😎 Thay guy also took a note about my latest book!

Them my husband and I talked to a lady and my husband deciphered her personality and helped her feel understand like probably never before!

We also talked to her and others about things that help you prepare yourself to find a good spouse!

It was a blast, and an amazing start to 2025!!

I knew a little dog who lived with a cat, and the cat was obviously the boss!

Then the dog visited us who only had 3 cats, and my cats bolted whenever they saw him.

He felt so proud of himself for being the boss of at least some cats 🤣

Last time one cat came in, saw him from a distance, froze, slowly and carefully turned around and ran back outside. I followed and got video of her halfway up the ladder, glaring at me with at much disappointment and disgust she could muster, saying, "how could you let that thing into my space?!" Before running up the last stept to the safety of the roof 🤣

I'm glad your cats rule the dogs.

Knowing myself enough so I was able to pick a husband who matches my humor, dreams, and life tempo is a true blessing!

Well, calling it a new year probably does some psychological stuff to us.

Having the holidays where we come together with family and friends might give us new ideas and inspiration for how to live from now on.

The fact that every day is getting brighter might also play a part.

Playing "Telestration" a super fun guessing game and I inadvertently showed off my drawing skilled to my husbands family. 😅😎

The game is, get a word, draw the picture, pass it to the right, next you guess what the picture is, flip the page and write it, then draw, write, draw, write up to 6 times and the show the result. So, kinda like telephone but with illustrations.

I've been in immigration process for over 2.5 years, being unable to work for money, and finally got my green card last month.

An Assault weapon is anything used to assault someone. The only time a gun is an assault weapon is when it's used to hit someone with it.

A shotgun is any gun that has been shot, so only brand new guns that have never even been test shot are not considered shotguns.
