I'm not having good luck today. My relay list was wiped and so was the list of people I follow. Not sure how or why this happens. Any ideas? The only clients I use are Damus on an iPhone 14 Pro and https://iris.to on desktop.

You could use browser extensions like #[6] but all apps are in different stages of development and can have bugs so just keep that in mind.
If you click the "Set as primary Nostr address (nip05)" button it changes it.
You can have any nip05 you like to use and can change it back from the edit profile settings.

Can someone explain to me why iris repeatedly asks me to reserve my user name? Any iris devs around?

If you do a cmd/ctrl + R to force a refresh or quit the app and open again it might help. Usually, goes away after awhile.
Iris.to/kensei works. You can change the nip on the edit profile section if you like (kensei@iris.to) or use your current one.

It seems you have already claimed your username so either click the button on Settings / Iris account (Set as primary Nostr address nip05) or set it manually (edit profile).
If you cmd / ctrl + R force refresh or quit the app and restart. Should be just some cache issue. Lots of demand at the same time as well.

iris.to/kensei seems to work. You have a different NIP05 but it's optional. You can use whichever you prefer.
