I’m surprised by the response to these tracks. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but sharing them here on #nostr has felt incredibly rewarding. These songs have been tucked away for a while since we’re no longer a band, so it’s nice to bring them back into the light. Tonight, I’ve added another EP from Big Awesome, “Better Than Numbers” - our first record as a trio, released back in 2011.
Here’s “Chariots” the first track.
This one is filled with memories, though some are bittersweet. We lost two close friends who were instrumental in the project: Tim, who recorded Better Than Numbers and Birdfeeder, and Scott, our original bassist. Their loss is a reminder to love the people in your life deeply and make sure they know it. Sometimes, just being there can make a difference in ways we don’t realize.
