NOSTR doesn't have enough users to be interesting. No amount of further development will solve this problem. A massive PR campaign to get people to try NOSTR is the only way to solve this problem. NOSTR has less than 10,000 daily active users (and falling). Anybody who cannot face the facts on this is delusional. People should spend whatever money they want to spend on a PR campaign instead of funding yet another feature. #grownostr
Clients will have to fix this issue. Some people who I follow boost waaasay too many posts. Either I unfollow them or clients have to give me a way to only see one post out of every 20 for this type of person. For the other issues, Amethyst provides a pretty good feed. All these issues will improve as clients get smarter. #grownostr
I have seen this happen with blocked users on other apps. Sometimes an app will flash a note from a blocked user when it is loading the feed. I guess this is an easy fix. #grownostr
I have found that browsing by topic is much more useful than my feed. After browsing exclusively by topic for two weeks I go to my feed and say "what is this"? #grownostr
I unfollowed the user Gek and it fixed my feed. Might have just been a coincidence
All the good clients have solved the smut problem for the most part. I see close to zero smut on Amethyst.
Lack of PR. Nobody knows about NOSTR! #grownostr
Almost every good client is providing a "clean" feed. Amethyst is probably the best. You won't get not suitable things on Amethyst if you don't deliberately seek it out. If you want to add not suitable content you can but I don't know how you would then toggle back to a clean feed. Probably just login with a different nsec with different follows would be the easiest. #grownostr

How about this theory? Powell had to wait to raise rates until he was officially reappointed in April 2022. Once he was secure in another term he knew that he had to raise rates like crazy and keep raising them until he could force Congress and the Treasury to get their spending under control. He is "independent" and is always very careful to say that he has no say in how the Congress and the Treasury spend money, but he knows that at some point he has to kill this spending bonanza which is the source of all our inflationary woes.
