Maybe we should then also hold all ethereum developers and nodes responsible for facilitating this.

While we're at it let's also arrest every shopowner that ever accepted any cash. They too have been doing money laundring on massive scales.

It's cool if you're a bank though. They are the guardians and trusted entities here. There's nobody actually checking them and if any money laundring meets the light of day nobody goes to jail and they get fined a small percentage of the money that was actually laundered.

People that know me well know i have been warning against the use of seedoils for a couple of years now. Usually people think it's not so bad and i'm totally over exaggerating, yet more and more evidence keeps popping up that confirms that i am not exaggerating that much.

Do not forget that seedoils have not been around that long and we have been eating butter for many centuries.

Like with many things, supposedly trustworthy institutions can be bought to promote products or product categories that turn out to be not so good for you at all.

If something seems to good to be true, it probably is...

Come to think of it, i think they might feed cows soybeans.

I know that when making butter it matters a whole lot what the cows were fed. If cows were 100% grass fed your butter would be quite soft, but if you make butter from cows that were mostly fed with corn or (in some cases) (additional) palm oil your butter will be hard as a rock.

I think it matters a lot what the cows were fed and what was in it.

Mostly typical media hysteria what we're discussing here on some bleeding edge science with 1 paper and no peer reviews. It's what media does to sell ads.

Isn't that what they used to say about soybeans as well? Vaguely recall jokes about man boobs.

Happy Anniversary! 22 Years is a lot considering your age! Nice accomplishment.

Like when everybody started getting pc's and i was the defacto guy to turn to for the whole family to advice them on what to buy, then to build it, install it and maintain it.

You think 5 is too early to teach them about running a node and RPC? πŸ€”

You should read: (long form) books!

You should not read: the news.

I think it's important to make that difference.

This unit though:

I don't think you can draw any conclusion from weighing 2 days in. If you lost much it's probably mostly whatever you ate the days before that was still making its journey through your metabolic system and water.

Even though you only drink water during the fast you do suffer from some osmosis because you additionally slowly deplete yourself of minerals that get excreted through urine.

If you do a one week fast you will lose weight, there is simply not enough glucose floating around for that time so you must rely on body fat to provide you with necessary energy.

If you want to know how much weight you lost it's better to weigh 2-3 days after you stopped the fast to get a good idea.

Just like that good old "gold standard" you could rely on.

Until you couldn't because of Keynesian economics..
