Say you're a new kid at school and you've never been a popular person. Do you care about who the most popular kids are? Maybe so you can avoid them!
After a few weeks you still don't have any friends, but you have noticed a few people that seem cool, so you "follow" them. Based on this set of follows, you can compute a "friend score" for anyone you don't know at all. It's simply the percentage of people you follow who are friends with the person in question. (There's actually a twist to it, but I'll get into that later.)

Absolutely fantastic! That said the bug reported about the impossibility of using the camera for scanning QR codes in iOS 16 even with the right permissions persists… Pasting addresses is my only workaround if I want to use Primal as a lightning wallet instead of WOS. Will keep waiting (my phone to break) 😂 Great app though 🍻

It's a hard/sad fact that most people are willing to give away part of their freedom in exchange of a calm, easy-going life. Tribes and freedom techs like the current Nostr must just keep building and including people willing to sacrifice convenience to get back those long lost parts of their freedom.
