Digit is Digit. I love her. I knew her online from wallstreetbets and she disappeared while going through some shit. I keep needing proof she's safe. To anyone I've ever treated unfairly, I apologize.

Oh frig man, invidious is hecked right now?

Funny thing is the guy that made this image might at least make a mediocre President instead of another war criminal

What you're seeing with where he put the word "me" is false modesty and fear

Kinda but by re-registering with no party affiliation I think

Democrats (such as Randall Munroe with his centralized, censored #xkcd IRC channel) unironically like centralization and censorship

It's easy to like Kamala Harris in comparison

Are you saying, when this technology comes available, all I have to do to set up a lightning wallet is copy and paste my nsec and add @ npub.cash in the zap field of my nostr profile?

That would be like, one step away from making it so all I have to do is click a button to set up zaps.

And wouldn't that also be like, one step away from letting me have my zaps automatically converted to on-chain bitcoin at a designated withdrawal address, whenever the balance reaches certain amounts and transaction fees are within certain limits?

And wouldn't that be like one step from using BIP-352 "silent payments" to avoid address reuse from entering a single withdrawal address?

And wouldn't that be like one step from replacing the one-button activation feature with... letting me just enter my withdrawal address as the only step in my setup process, with reasonable presets in place for on-chain conversions and stuff like that?

And wouldn't that configuration result in me being able to trust npub.cash zap addresses as a safe way to send money?

IN OTHER WORDS:

Are you guys... let me count... 5 steps away from making me adopt lightning to zap your users?

After a quick search:

> The Swiss company sells itself on its privacy features, promising to let uses "take control" of their personal data.

> But it had been legally obliged to collect data from an account said to be linked to a "climate activist" arrested by French police, ProtonMail said.

I recently learned about BIP-352 "silent payments" which kind of remind me of adding Monero-esque protection to Bitcoin transactions, but no mention of that either lol

I was there for all of that.

I've been in dogecoin since before the deep state injected the "doj coin" pronunciation and the original devs went along with it

I constantly get banned from dogecoin discussion forums for being angry at the "doj coin" pronunciation, because of devs too spineless to stand with me on that topic - the problem has festered for years

Michi banned me from the dogecoin Discord not only for this, but also for calling her out for bullshitting about the hardware backdoors in modern CPUs (such as Intel management engine)

The bitcoin fork with a huge network and low transaction fees and a picture of Kabosu for a logo deserves:

* devs who would call it "doggie coin"

* devs who would be annoyed at people calling it "doj coin"

* devs who would be fucking pissed at hardware manufacturers undermining network security with hardware backdoors

Dogecoin having the devs it has is fuckin weird. We live in a weird timeline.
