Agorist hodler searching for freedom nuggets in the decentralized world. Beekeeper. Sometimes writer. Open source as F. Tinkerer. Homeschool parent. Vegetarian, plant medicine philosophizer.

Works for me. I run an ancient thinkpad T420 with PopOS. I really only use it for presentations, or when a smartphone cant meet my mobile needs (otherwise i prefer a desktop for most everything). I refresh the OS every once in a while. The thing just hums right along. It must be about12 years old.

We are all going to need to develop a very strong sense of intuition along with new mechanisms for discerning truth. Wild ride incoming because most wont take on the challenge and will be utterly destroyed in the process.

This is def somerhimg Ive learned over time. People will wake up on their own time schedule, not yours. A big hug to all the quiet rebels building the parallel worlds that will help us out of this mess!

Oh fuck, big failure already! I couldnt do it, bothered the shit outta me just looking at the screen. Interesting to see how important color is in making information much more consumable and SO much more fast.

Yeah, fair enough but i think that if a person is coming into a large aount of cash (and they are aware the system is shit) , they should probably have a scattershot plan of hoovering up all sorts of hard assets(gold, silver, btc even land or a decent piece of art) from a a variety of locales...individuals on FB marketplace/craigslist, coin shops, proper dealers, etc. Everyrhing, all at once, a pain in the ass no doubt, and, doubly challenging within an Ozzie context given the new restrictions on pulling hard cash out of banks. Aus certainly has changed a lot since i was there 16 yrs ago

Heeeheee, I suck at acquiring one...takes all types, it's all good 😄

It 8s very confusing for me to think about the fact that many (most?) people still leave large amounts of their FRNs in the legacy banking system. Why? Has it not already proven itself illegitimate in innumerable ways since 2008??

Oh, interesting, I will now join you on this adventure and see what happens 😄

Militant undermining, disobedience, and tearing at the roots of this failed "democracy". Fuck every nepotistic political piece of garbage in this land.

Was traveling in Turkey recently. So many conversations with folks aboit the unaffordability of everthing. Consultant husband and Dr. wife couldnt even afford to get a decent apartment in Istanbul. Cab lamenting the fact he could barely put food on the table. Bitcoin, we all need you!

Native LNURL for mutiny wallet?!?!?

Yikes, one world mind as dictated/managed by our "betters". Web3 in general, Nostr specifically should be building an adjacent pie chart, a sort of bootstrap for community discovery/sharing in the "parallel" interwebs. Of course there is content bleed over and replication between the two pies but web3 should tamp down corporate comms and propaganda dissemination .

Yaaaaas, Bisq all day long. Been using it for several years, works like perfection. No KYC brilliance 😄

Ok, thanks, will check Zeus. Im not concerned with losing a small amount of btc, i just dont like the practice of custodial accounts...im probably just being too strict, need to be flexible with the emerging lightening tech. Im hoping devs can sort out LNURLs for self custody wallets here at some point.
