Hmmm, moral dilemma here. I'd like to have a lightening wallet connected to my nostr account, however to do so appears to violate my btc principles. Not your keys, not your btc. Not concerned about losing small amounts of btc, just want to stay principled. Suggestions welcome π
I love Bisq, you guys are freakin awesome. Thanks for what you do.
Yikes, cry harder.
This is the sort of comment of a person Id like to follow.π
Hmmm, I'm still stuck on pirating the entire catalog of my local library system, it's extensive and time consuming. I guess this is also a first world challenge of the agorist kind.
Killer movie!!!!
If one must use youtube, have the decency to go via invidious, freetube, newpipe, pipepipe, or any of the other excellent anon clients. FOSS all day long.
Yep, this is a beautiful shift. Where ideals usurp the stale motivating factors providing to you through years of indoctrination. Breaking free while breaking the state.
Yas, this! I hate the (sometimes) animosity between the gold and btc folks. Gold and btc are both amazing and should be thought of as close friends in the battle against state "money". They will both be incredibly important for a more honest and just future!
Ahhhhh discipline. The discipline of regular gym visits. The discipline of not over-consuming. The discipline of not inflating. The discipline of being honest and forthright with your affairs. The displine of sticking to a set of core values. And on and on....
Agreed. At some point btc really should be priced in different terms. 100,000 satoshi increments just may get the folks jumping. Im teaching a homeschool crypto class to a bunch of 12-15 y.o. right now and the initial response is, "yeah but I dont have thousands of dollars". Thus begins the 100M sat breakdown. π
For sure the future is here methinks πππ
Hmmm, it might be a little tedious for a 14 y.o. unless that person has a particularily strong interest in monetary plumbing/history. That being said, you could probably selected specific chapters of interest amd focus there and perhaps leave out the more esoteric bits about M2 money supply, settlement issues, etc
Yep, and then it makes the case for bitcoin based on that history. Well researched, very compelling and balanced case for btc
Damn good book, just finished it, well worth it!!!!
Utterly fascinating to me. Every single day you look at the normie financial news and it is all about this one suit. This one suit and what he may or may not do to some esoteric financial lever. A lever that influences the life blood of a world economy. A blood that is a tapestry of fundamental lies that underpin the entire world economy. An entire world economy that is built on an artifice so corrupt and fragile that the daily hand-wringing of what decision a few dudes in suits make is more important than the collective energies, ambitions, risks, ingenuity, blood, sweat and tears of 8 billion souls. I must be eating crazy pills, get me off this ride, I'm done.

You dont know what you're doing, I don't know what I'm doing but I'm glad to be doing it with you and the other free people here π
