No it isn't. It's not like twitter. The number of people you follow determines how active your feed is. You follow 37 people. Go follow 200+ people & follow some hashtags & it will never seem dead.
This ☝️ 💯 People are still stuck in the fucking influencer mindset that says you need to have more followers than follows in order to look important. Follow everyone you come across here and then weed out the ones you don't want in your feed. Wash, rinse, repeat, until you've established a good number of high quality follows.
The influencer mindset is fiat.
We’re going to chart a better way.
I’ve been on here for a year and followed 100+ including you and then some client (primal most likely) continues to purge all of my follows. Meh. I follow folks on both sides…mostly econ/macro and the quantity/quality of content is better on Tweeters. Most of nostr is folks circle jerking about how awesome nostr is and meme-ing. Yawn. It will hit critical mass eventually. just isn’t there yet.
