Everyone has joked for decades about how bad the flu vaccine is. I believe they even admitted that the most prevalent strains have not even been covered the past few years.
But government doesn't let a simple thing like logic get in their way.
When your house gets dirty you use chemicals that smell of citrus. Thus your house now smells of citrus. So from now on, when your house gets dirty you only have to make your house smell like citrus and not actually clean anything right?
I view Public Health as almost Keynesian medicine. It places control of your health in the hands of a small centralized group of elites who don't see you as an individual human being, but as a data point to be manipulated to somehow improve the health of the overall society.
But just like Keynesian economics, it is completely backwards in alignment and incentives with the individual. To them the society is what is important, not you as an individual. They know what's good for you and you should just do as they say.

I have no clue about the syntax but I like the idea. This doesn't sound like it would be that hard to incorporate into wallet software, but would certainly be use as your own risk.

It's all a charade. If you have insurance those numbers just are about meaningless. They already have a contract with your insurer to pay a fraction of each of those and call it a day (and they know what those rates are). All it does is give them an insanely inflated "MSRP".
And I don't even see a ER physician charge yet (likely coming in an entirely separate bill)

This looks specific for the Bitcoin core app so you may be able to just do the same to knots after you install it so it just points to the same directory.
Interested to see if that works and persists through app upgrades
if you feel comfortable with the linux command line, you should be able to move the app directory to your second hard drive (make sure it automounts) and then symlink the umbrel app dir on your primary hard drive to the app directory on the second drive. Works for me.
Now be prepared for when you upgrade because it will not respect that and you will need to do it again. It would be much easier if they just let you configure manually which directory to install things to
As far as loans go, federal student loans ain't bad. 4 years of subsidized deferment, forgivable upon death and multiple other ways to get them partially/fully paid for. Rates are not horrible and you can pay them off over decades.
Leave the gold in the vault and pay the fiat loans with deppreciating fiat. Reevaluate post graduation.
And as always, borrow as little as possible and use that money as wisely as possible.
