Finally ready to obnoxiously rep Bitcoin/nostr wherever I go😎

Thanks friend, this is what I was looking for! Wasn't sure if it was a before or after you have a proof of concept kinda thing. Thanks for your help
Honestly, couldn't tell you lol. I just want to start contributing to nostr development, and figured studying up on how different clients are handling things was a good place to start
This is the one and only Trixie
Spending the day studying snort social code. My brain is mush
Ahh gotcha, didn't realize different even types could be used in that way. To use a special event type in an application would it need to be "registered" in any way or do you just kinda go for it?
When people inevitably start building on the **other stuff**, is it more likely that the applications will be walled off on private relays or some how find a way to filter public relays?
For instance, if someone chooses to develop a nostr based market place, how would they go about insuring that the events in their site aren't flooding note based clients?
Bro the memories... My family stopped there almost every road trip to my grandparents house on the other side of Oklahoma
Been feeling the urge to stop scrolling and start building.
Typescript seems to be the standard here? I've used JavaScript before, but never built on anything bigger than simple websites. Any tips for a beginner?
+1 on the pixels. Great phones with a solid os and older models are very budget friendly
Absolutely. I'm an absolute comic book addict and the bid wars in that community are awesome. Sometimes when the price gets too high you can drive people to overpay even more which is fun in itself

#[0] do you think it is reasonable to rely almost entirely on the wine filter? I was trying to cut down my 20+ relay list for performance, and am currently down to 6 comprised of wine filter and paid relays. Seems to be working well but unsure if this is a good setup
The #1 nostr anxiety Is changing your relay list and Wondering if you're still seeing everything 😬
I would have to say notes > contacts > dms
This is highly personal though, mostly because I rarely use dms. I highly value notes because of previous reasons, and value contacts quite a bit because I've accidentally wiped my whole list before and it's an absolute pain
Just my own. by nostr nature your data is very volatile, so if in some extreme case all of the public relays I use went down, all of my data is effectively gone. So if I have them backed up on a private relay I can simply rebroadcast all my data to a new set of relays
