Israel was founded on barren land in 1949 through a resolution in the UN at the same time as the Arabs were handed approximately equal amounts of land area in the region.

The Jews accepted and the Arabs rejected and started a multi front attack upon the new born state Israel; they lost and started whining(as immature children like you always do), but regrouped and have through the decades continued to attack Israel, always with the same result: they lose the war and with that they lose territory.

It is a strange way to act: To attack with the purpose to ”free the area from the river to the sea” and then when they lose the war, they scream about the ”injustice” of ”occupied territories”.

So in 2005 the then prime minister tried to make a Gordian knot solution in Gaza, when he ethnically cleansed Gaza from jews who were violently forced out from there by the Israeli government and the area was transferred into palestinian control. It didn’t take long for the oppressed geniuses in Gaza to start construction of the extensive underground network of tunnels and production of heroic anti oppression missiles that they soon let fly into urban areas in Israel.

One can wonder what had happened if these ”oppressed people” instead of building underground tunnels and producing missiles and indoctrinating their children into hating the jews, had started construction of a civil infrastructure, focused on tourism, agriculture and real education, had been 20 years later.

I may have to go along (with laws) to get along for the moment, but I'm not about to take a bunch of action (like voting) that signals that I am voluntarily participating in the system.

It's _especially_ bad when the politicians start dangling attractive carrots in front of your face. By voting in that scenario, you're capitulating "Well I guess if I **agree** with the state in this instance then it's not so bad..." No, fuck that.

One of the things I hate most about movies is the normalization of drinking alcohol. Young people want to have a good time, they go to a bar. Important meeting with a business partner? The host always picks a fancy glass jar and they drink.

For me, I always imagine smelly drunks in an underground station, intelligence -15 points.

nobody needs robot dogs. flying drones is all anybody needs. they already exist. but first the west needs to finish offloading WW2 era tech ( tanks ) which are little more than coffins on track. also Ukraine already has the weapons to win, but isn't allowed to use them on Russian territory.

it is ridiculous of course that Russia can strike anywhere but Ukraine can only strike what is its own territory - but it's understandable that the west doesn't want to get involved directly in the war, which would be unavoidable if Ukraine used western weapons on Russian territory.

the real question is whether the west actually wants to defeat Russia or not. my guess not. if we wanted to beat Russia we would have beaten them by now. what do we want ? who the fuck knows.
