Hillbilly engineer and plant nerd going feral

I just remove the shell and put them in the brine from anything pickled. After about a month the eggs absorb a good deal of flavor from the brine. If you like dill pickles you will most likely the eggs. Put the jar in the refrigerator.

I figure the red hot has enough salt and vinegar to act as a brine. Last batch was very good.

I think you can use the juice from fermented or vinegar pickles typically found in the store.

Looks like I'm boiling more eggs today. I got a big jug of red hot from a restaurant that closed. I'll use this to ferment the eggs for about a month.

Yeah. I just never really decided I was going to do it. When I do, its as good as done.

I watched a documentary on the Appalachian trail. then after a few beers I decided I would start the next spring. Best 6 month vacation ever. πŸ˜‚

Nice. I was doing this for a couple weeks. I stopped because I wanted recovery time. I'm still working out 5-6 days per week, just like to change it up.

Also, the chest muscles are the most useless upper body muscles IMO. I do not often push things where I couldn't just use my legs.

Great job with the set of 45, that's impressive. πŸ‘ŠπŸ’ͺ

GM nostr. I wonder if my coworkers realize I use GFY affectionately now. Probably should have put respectfully, GFY. πŸ˜‚

Finished up nostr:npub15879mltlln6k8jy32k6xvagmtqx3zhsndchcey8gjyectwldk88sq5kv0n compost class and surprised myself with how much I learned (100% on the last quiz πŸ’ƒ). Gathering materials to build my first bioreactor this weekend! It was really helpful also watching the videos of the in-person class he did last autumn. So, one of the best things I got out of the course was to "be fearless", so I grabbed a wheelbarrow of last year's leaf and woodchip piles to add to my new beds. And waddaya know there were a TON of happy worms in there!! πŸ‘€ I accidentally made compost! πŸ˜‚ I also dusted in some plant fertilizer and kelp. We shall see; the experimentation is kinda fun.

Nice. I'll be making one or two in a couple weeks. I just have to build a new chicken coop first. I'll mainly be using the chicken bedding and gathered stuff from my woods for my bioreactor.

Wow, I feel bad for her. Imagine the terror and helplessness.

For us that were awakened by covid can use it as motivation. A kick in the butt for moving toward self responsibility at a personal and community level.

πŸ‘Š that is the way to 'quit' the Facebook. 😎

Indefinitely? I deleted my Facebook years ago.

I can see why they wouldn't want that circulating. πŸ˜‚
