The DC clown show is desperate keep Yoon out of court in case he talks, and the links to the Ukraine clusterproject become apparent.
If Nostr can fix the key leakage problem (probably through key rotation) and provide secure DM functionality, I think it'll start to move towards log growth. Until then, I struggle to recommend it to all and sundry.
If we all stop pretending that Nostr is decentralised, more energy will be focused on making it more decentralised.
User story: As a retarded toxic maximalist, I want to invite people to Nostr, with an invitation that comes pre-baked with a list of npub1 follows that I have selected for them.
When Nostr gains more popularity and achieves wider adoption, the zap advertising section where users can add their text, URLs, and brands along with their zaps will become some of the most valuable advertising spots on the internet. Whoever creates the best UI will win the race. For now, it’s nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg leading the way.
Nostr won't gain popularity until fundamental architectureal are resolved. #KeyRotation
I think it's fair to say that Nostr is significantly leaner, but only a little more decentralised, compared with orphaned Bluesky.
Relays are undesirable. Concepts like #Kademlia and #NOIST need to be looked at by protocol architects. Marketplaces have the potential to spawn a new social graph paradigm.

Nostr won't reach log growth without key rotation.
Universal adoption of NIP-06 plzkthx.
Anything that allows a centralised issuer to rug holders is a shitcoin.
Revolut has an issue with fraudsters using their service as a 'mule account' to transit stolen funds. Their lean service model means that their support often sucks, but from my experience, they normally resolve things after a while. The fact that you were using a new device was no doubt noticed by their risk model.
I'd give them an opportunity (a week or so) to resolve it, since after a few days elapse, their algo will have more certainty that there's no fraud (I.e they won't have received a report). I think that the Revolut leadership are genuinely trying to do the right thing in difficult circumstances.
Also, if you pay for a premium account, the service gets incrementally better. Ultra account holders can generally speak to a competent human with no hold time.
Having a second Clown World phone, just for KYC services, is probably the right plan.
My new family doctor is freaking out because because I have high cholesterol and are a "very high risk" of a heart attack.
Before my blood test results came in, he said my blood pressure, heart rate and breathing results were top notch and well above average.
It's kinda funny, sprinting every couple of weeks, being able to run a half marathon in <1:50:00, and working out 6 days/week for the last 25 years, a healthcare professional believes I'm a tickling time bomb.

Some good info on Cholesterol and Statins!

No doubt he's trying to get you on statins. Just another big pharma scam. Statins have incredibly nasty side effects, with little to no benefit. But very profitable.
