Looking for an interesting television show to watch that is beautiful and inspiring? I recently stumbled upon this show made in Greece about the life of St. Paisios, one of the most beloved Greek saints of the 20th century. I admit that I was skeptical at first since Christian media hasn't always had the highest production value. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by the high quality acting, writing, and production. The show is very compelling and entertaining while remaining faithful to the orthodox spiritual nature of the subject matter.
While I don't think it has had an official release in America, some kind souls made it available with English subtitles. You can find a brief synopsis of the show and links to all of the episodes of the first season both with and without (in case you are a Greek speaker) English subtitles here:

It is a must watch for any Orthodox Christian but I think any spiritually minded person would benefit from watching it and learning about the life of this holy man. The second season is in production and should come out next year.

Welcome back. As with everything there is an ebb and flow but this place keeps getting better.
It's been far too long since I've been to the sauna so my wife took me for a birthday treat despite the fact the my the actual day was a couple months ago. I love this charming little place. Hot tubs, saunas, and a cozy cafe that seems to have been plucked out of the old country and transported halfway around the world. Cash or local check only, no wifi, great esspresso. I'm a patient man but I think a return visit is in order before my next birthday.
