Bitcoin. Aliens.

I kinda hate how the media and government tried to psyop people into believing those dumbass balloons were ufos a few weeks ago. I wanted that to be my thing.

I’m hearing reports from the field that single click zaps are working in Damus.

I don’t mean to give him a free pass, but he did apologize and acknowledge it was his fault. Not sure what else we can expect him

to do at this point.

Yeah it was and still is a pit of vipers. Jack seems like a cool dude who meant well, I view it as a the largest cautionary tale of all time at this point.

People aren’t going to want to hear this but a Nostr client that replicates the entire experience of TikTok would be the biggest thing to happen to both Nostr and Bitcoin.

It’s wild. I know the optimal coin combination for 1-99 cents and these kids have to sit there and count with their fingers

No it literally hasn’t even cross the mind of the overwhelming majority of people. The sun rises, you gotta pay your taxes, gravity makes things fall and inflation are all just unchallenged assumptions. When it’s actually realized that’s when the real melt up occurs.

I simulated “losing” an apple tag and it was literally “found” by the next car that drove by. We are talking near constant probing by everything that moves.

Right. If we are talking mobile I don’t think it’s really possible in a usable way yet. Delegated keys with the “master” kept in a hardware signing device will probably be the way I want to use nostr when it’s possible.

In order to sign a message the private key is going to have to be in the memory of *something*. Eventually we’ll be able to delegate keys out from a master key which will be revocable in some way which will make it a little less of a disaster if it gets exposed.

We will just never know.

Yeah it’s cool that way. Eventually we’ll have our own algos in-app to catch up but for now nostr is purely an in the moment thing.

Open app to see if hell thread is still going. Yep still is.

These are the salty nerds who knew about Bitcoin over a decade ago but never did anything about it. Many such cases.
