It's so weird how often the word 'antisemite' is misused nowadays.

The word 'antisemite' contains 'anti' and 'Semite'.

'Anti' means: a person who is opposed to something.

'Semite' is a name given in the 19th century to a member of any people who speak one of the Semitic languages, a family of languages spoken primarily in parts of western Asia and Africa. The term therefore came to include Arabs, Akkadians, Canaanites, Hebrews, some Ethiopians (including the Amhara and the Tigrayans), and Aramaean tribes.

So, despite of how Jewish people frequently call someone else an antisemite when they feel criticized, there is nothing exclusive about them being a Semite. It's just the person that speaks the language (Hebrew) that they are using in the middle east among other specific languages common in that area. And yes, that includes Muslims too that speak Arabic.

If You ever get called out by someone stating that You are an Antisemite, You can point this out.

Even any Rabbi has no other choice than confirm this. 😉

The truth is you aren't a product in either.

Users aren't products and they aren't entirely analogous to products either.

That said, paying customers on platforms like Twitter, GitHub etc… are there primarily because of the network effect. This is to say, they are there because many other people are there. What they are actually paying for is (access to) every other user.

This is why a smart strategy on these platforms is to have a large amount (the majority) of non-paying users. It's not just that some of them could pay in the future. It's that paying users are there primarily because of the non-paying ones.

This is true for Nostr paid relays too, and for other services which connect to Nostr, with the difference that you can attract paying users even if you never actually use any service that they use. For example, even if you only use free relays, as I do, you may still indirectly help paid relays to grow.

That said, on Nostr you can hide your identity rather well, if you wish, by choosing what information to associate with your account and by hiding your IP address to relays. You have a finer control than if you're using proprietary apps.

I used CloneZilla a lot yesterday to copy disks. It is one way to get around the limitations of the Windows 11 installer.

I am no fan of Microsoft Windows, but most of my customers still prefer or need it for the work they do. I let people know there's the option of Linux, at least.

If you have an installation of Windows 11 where you have already set up a local account and removed the Microsoft account, you can clone the disk to an image or to another disk (computer).

This allows you to have Windows 11 on a computer with hardware "less" than what the Windows 11 installer requires.

So clonezilla and similar tools are quite useful when repairing and refurbishing computers.
