I'm holding off on any more Bitcoin buys until this turns around.

At the moment I’m mostly just experimenting with some of the different devices to see how they work. There are a few of us who have deployed some Meshtastic nodes around the city where I live and we are trying to get some good coverage. Once we have coverage then I hope to look some more at some of the other projects that use Meshtastic.

Another #meshtastic device arrived today. This is the HELTEC Wireless Paper with a 2.13 inch e-ink display.

Some of you have probably heard that YT wants to bypass ad blockers by injecting ads directly into the stream server-side.

They assume you'll succumb to your dopamine addiction and give up. Or that you'll subscribe to their premium service. Don't do that, it's a trap.

First, it costs $10/month. Then, when enough addicts have subscribed, they increase the price. And then they increase it again. And then they say, "we could insert a little advertising. At least at the beginning and the end." And then comes 1-2 ads in between. And then they increase the price again. And so on.

Don't fall for it, educate them instead. Collectively. Simply avoid YT. Until add-on developers have caught up (might happen quicker than we think. They're probably working on it already). Or switch to other video services.

Content creators, start looking for alternative platforms to upload your stuff. Don't go down with them.

Have a bit of honor, don't get fooled in the same way every time. Invest in one streaming service you like and forget about YT and the rest. Don't give them another $10. Instead, buy Bitcoin with it. Read a book.

Hah just saw the news. I mean OpenAI is obviously a spy. Open source AI will win but we aren’t there. I use ChatGPT rarely and under 🔥 email accounts with VPN always on, that’s the best what can be done in this regard.
