A decade is 100 years in technology and we still haven't made things simple.
The security problem in crypto runs deep. Not even having a staff member on this task is embarrassing.

Yet Crypto is over a decade old... sad.
What would I build if I could launch on a blockchain that is decentralized, scalable, and isn't backed by an oligarchy of validators or a plutocracy of miners?
Does the protocol support "signing" with my pvt key? Ideally that is the best option I know of. Or perhaps these browser extensions enable that functionality?
nostr isn't an identity backup. nostr *is* the identity. here's how to create a backup of it!
run your own relay. that's it!
you can do this in a multitude of methods. here's just a few simple examples to get you started.
on Android you can run a relay on your phone: https://github.com/greenart7c3/Citrine
on Windows you can run a relay on your computer: https://github.com/CodyTseng/nostr-relay-tray
on Umbrel/Start9/Mynode you can run a relay on your own server: https://apps.umbrel.com/app/nostr-relay
https://github.com/Start9Labs/nostr-rs-relay-startos
if you want a DIY method, you can run a variety of relays too:

good luck!

I'll say again; crypto has a security problem. The demand for exploits and attack vectors just continue to grow without any real referendum on the architecture.
