Nameko is supposed to have fairly slimey caps. I have a culture of them that I tried to grow, but I didn’t have the ability to make it cold enough to trigger fruiting.
The fruiting bodies can revert back into mycelium and then spread again. Growing from spores is more like a reproductive cycle. Also might be more difficult to achieve in a less sterile compost environment vs a “clone” from a fruiting body.
But that is the mushroom block and not the stem.
The Wood-lovers psychedelic community are known for using stem butts to propogate.

I posted this picture a while back
Yeah it depends on the species and your environmental conditions but they can definitely pop out a mushroom after being composted.

Would you believe I bought this poo on Etsy
It wasn’t really the best use of the freeze dryer but now it is stable for longer term storage

Following… I got my start ordering from Advanced Circuits, and sometimes from OSHPark.
Only recently discovered both the companies you mentioned. TBH I don’t know what the tariffs will be but the prices they offer is like 10% the cost of American suppliers and basically just as fast. Hopefully an American company can compete, but I’m doubtful.
I’m gonna have to try this out today!
This clock maker memes!

I actually follow this video pretty closely already. Partially because a lot of what I grow is cacti. Also because I have a lot of verm and coco coir on hand for mushroom growing.
Not sure if these plants are 100% soil free but definitely on that spectrum.
Yes they are those type! They didn’t like the original grow light I had but they like this one a lot.
Going to check this video out and report back.
Rumor has it that >90% of the nostr:npub1knvgqlkllgc566pxjkwrm33ks8k9nn6470a8y70t58jx6y3l620sj7lg29 members pay their monthly dues over lightning.
All the lightning disrespectoors who just focus on number of channels and public capacity are shocked!
Should I really drench it? Just standard grocery store strength stuff?
Hmm that’s a potential solution that’s you don’t find in the books
Say hello to my little friends. I picked these scrub oak acorns from the Colorado mountains last year and they are growing well in the tent.
Does anyone have a good solution for little tiny fruit flys? I need to solve it before I get more mushrooms growing in the tent next door.
