For people who played around with vanity keys and rana, is any prefix/suffix combination valid, withing the bech32m character set?
I've been running rana for a week now, but haven't found a key and I'm wondering if my prefix+postfix combination is not in the realm of valid encodings.

Try specifying multiple matches on the same command line, including some easier ones, to see if it's matching anything.
I'm not sure this chain survives scrutiny in a world where there's a thick market in fiat-btc exchange and central banks control the fiat supply. It may make some sort of statement, but I find it difficult to believe that there's any appreciable practical effect.
I fail to see the problem here. 🥩
It's fair to say that they are efficient—but efficient in the real world, where there are transactions costs, information asymmetries, etc. The problem is not with the claim that markets are efficient, but with the narrow context of the model of "perfect competition" in which the claim is usually made. This is an important distinction because, given that the PC model assumes away all the problems that markets solve, government planning is also "efficient" in the context of that model, even though anyone with half a brain knows it's not so in the real world.

5K sats to force close a 2M sats channel 🤮

You win some, you lose some. I'm just grateful that fees were sane today.
The life of a Lightning node operator: being irrationally excited that two channels that have had liquidity stubbornly stuck on one side finally routed a few payments to each other, even though you only earned 3 sats.
Umbrel does offer limited customization of the config files for Bitcoin and LND via the respective GUIs. OTOH, I actually find the way they do it annoying, because it makes maintaining the config via Ansible impossible. Is it possible to configure everything via changes to the standard config files on Start9, or do you have to use the GUI?
A friend had one of those and it really was pretty sweet.
Too much pollen. And sheep poop.
