Thankfully the anitbiotics seem to be working, slowly, but the swelling is still there. I'm anxious for the root canal. Kinda feel like Arthur Denton, who requested "a long, slow, root canal" in Little Shop of Horrors.

Yesterday morning I finally got the answer to "wtf is this pain coming from?" after the xray at the dentist showed a large abscess under a tooth. I'm so happy to finally have an answer and to have the antibiotics to help reduce the volume of it and with it reduce the amount of pain my head is in.
I spent my day trying to avert the pain and working with the #3dprinter. It was dark when I remembered to hook up the trailer for the grain run I've done this morning already. Spokane is MUCH nicer to move around at 5am when there is ZERO traffic and the stop lights are all nicely sensored.

The pan handle is all forests, mountains, and rivers and the southern part is high desert like. I'm partial to the pan handle for the forests but the south part of the state has the lava fields, killer climbing in Castle Rocks and there is insanely great fishing all around the state. Preist Lake near Sandpoint is an awesome place with a mountain crest on the east side and is badass to explore in summer. Fall is huckleberry season and they grow wild all over the region.

The CDA and Sandpoint areas are quitre nice. Both are an hour from me and we tend towards Sandpoint more. This time of year you could ski Schwietzer which sits right above the city.
I have a brick fire pit so get to build nice fires then pull coals to grill. I really like grilling while it's snowing. There's something super primal about it despite being feet from the house.
There is zero reason NOT to grill year round. I just grilled our steaks in the pit last night. We're rural so no carolers for us but congrats on your Hallmark moment!

Exactly! I'm an only child and grew up in the mountains and forest so spent a ton of my childhood alone wandering the woods and climbing the rocks. It's always odd to me when people are incapable of being alone, can't be in their own heads, or handle the abject silence of being alone in the middle of nowhere. For me that's exactly where I am happiest, whre they can't be.

Yeah I totally don't want it getting that far. My long time friend let one go so long he got a brain infection which imploded his life. Infections can be really serious shit.
Fucking #abcess under my tooth is my issue and reason for the insane pain. Root canal next Thursday and for now the antibiotics will help kill the infection and reduce the pressure/pain. Really happy to FINALLY have an answer for the pain!

My chiropractor is gloriously talented at adjsuting my skeleton. Yesterday I floated out of his office after an amazing session.
I would be forever and ever and ever in the angel's debt that were to suddenly provide me with one of the Intermittent segmental traction tables that would all but eliminate my need to go to a chiro.... Just putting it out there to the universe.
Power is now ready for the S19 if it ever gets here, got more wood split, cases printed for my #Meshtastic devices, and then I had the pain in my jaw return which I now have to deal with.

I'm still recovering from the water line fiasco so yesterday was a much lighter work load day. Finished backfilling the immense hole and leveled it best I could. The new handle for the maul is quite nice and it is a serious benefit to have the beast back in action as it is really good at splitting. My truck heater blower was sounding like a cat being flayed alive and thankfully the new came in and was a very easy swap. I am sooooo looking forward to my chiro appointment today!

I got the water line fixed yesterday and thankfully it was a simple repair. Just the 90 and coupler with a stub of pipe between and it was back together. I had to do a bit of digging beneath the valve to ensure it would line up right but once together I was able to backfill the hole in. 5 hours to dig it and 20 minutes to fill it in... I've never liked the difference in time and effort level required but then I've never had a tractor to make the digging easy.
