This is true. The only reason why the choice between these systems matters is because we have given so much power to the government that IT MATTERS.

This is one of the Bitcoin mantras that I don't share because no one has ever given me a reasoned argument for it.

Bitcoin's virtues as perfect store of wealth make it perfect collateral. That is, it can be used to borrow fiat with the peace of mind that the collateral will not disappear, and once we reach and surpass gold's market cap and volatility goes down, even more.

But Bitcoin in itself does not generate any sort of cash flow. In other words, unless you put to work that fiat you borrowed, you will not have a way to pay back and you will lose your Bitcoin.

Real estate (investing with two working neurons, doing the proper research etc) is one of the most solid revenue generating investments available.

I can't remember the first client I used, but it allowed me to check Jack's following and followers list, and had a "follow all" button. I did that with the ten or so biggest accounts, and that's how I got to follow 1700+ people. It is commonly said that once you follow at least 1000 accounts the TL gets interesting and engaging.

You can also do exactly the same with relays. Most clients if not all will let you see the relays someone else is using, and you can just add them. I would try not go over the top, I was using 40+ relays and it was awful. At 13-14 I think I'm in a good spot now.

On Android, Amethyst is hands down the best. On iOS, it's a mixed thing and I keep switching between Primal and Damus. On desktop, Primal and Iris.

And yes, you can log in "as" someone else with their npub (public key). In that case, you can see their TL and so on, but because you don't know their nsec (secret key) you can't post or do anything that requires signing. I think that's really cool actually.

The first two scenarios are already happening.

In Europe we already have massive, completely impossible to ever pay back, government debt levels due basically to government handouts, e.g., "pensions", "healthcare" and "education", which are simply bribes to get votes and to increase the dependency of the population on the government.

The deficit is sustained exclusively by printing trash fake money. There is no other way of financing it. Taxation, even at the outrageous levels we suffer, is just not enough. Plus people are stupid so they can't even see how they're really paying for all that via fake money.

On top of that, governments are already subsidizing the compliant and punishing the insubordinate. True, this is mainly in the corporate world for now, but there are uncountable subsidies and bribes, and punishments for individuals, mainly in the form of more handouts and tax exemptions/additions.

For instance, most EU countries have taxes on fuel exceeding 50%, and sales tax on top of that - in Spain that's an additional 21%. In my country, Catalonia, we even have a sugar tax to punish the consumption of sugary drinks.

The population has already been massively brainwashed and is totally ready to embrace the monthly handout of the UBI scam, it's just that they still haven't figured out exactly how they will manage to deploy it without causing the immediate and instantaneous collapse of everything. Where I live none of that is possible, so I guess everything is a lot more simple because the choice is made for us.

How often do you do that though? I never disassemble or clean the 9mm handgun I use at the range and (when I had time to go) to train practical shooting. That's a lot of dust and pebbles all over the gun, dropping the the mags to the ground, etc. Even when I'm just target shooting, I do at least 2 boxes per session.

When I'm done for the day, I just put one or two drops of machine oil in the key spots, rack it a few times, same with the magazine, and see you next time.

I must have more than 10k shots with it at this point, and I have never ever had one single malfunction -- except a few months ago, at a range I had never been to where they gave me some really weak ammo that would not reciprocate.

What I love the most about this is that they inform him that his handle will be "musicfan". My goodness, they couldn't have come up with anything cheesier 😂
